Great location and fantastic facilities. We had a 24foot caravan and stayed for 7 nights, power, water, sullage to the ground or plant beds, big bathrooms, bbqs, fridge if needed and other kitchen facilities, laundry and dump point. Stanes through to a great beach and fantastic walk out around Dr May's Island at low tide. All in all we have an awesome break there and would go back when we next travel that way.
Beautiful park and well maintained with lovely staff who can't do enough. Showers and laundry very good. Been hoildaying there twice a year for years.Short walk to beach and Kiosk. Will miss the place.Service: 5/5
Great location for getting away from it all. Park basic, amenities excellent, just hope it doesn't rain while you're there, all grass sites turn into quagmire. Beach very good, no dogs allowed or in CP.
Awesome quiet camp site Amenities amazing. Fresh clean and very new. Lots of toilets and showers. Managers relief ones when we were there we’re just amazing. So helpful and friendly couldn’t fault them Sites grass only but plenty of space for Motorhome Location so quiet but heaps to do
We booked, paid a deposit on the quoted price. On arrival two weeks later,we were told the fees had been reviewed and risen by $12 per night to $50pn. So much for the quote. New camp kitchen, new amenities. Cleaner closed them between 8am and 9.30.,peak use time. No maintenance to sites, dirt roads, full of holes.muddy, uneven sites, beaches are great.
The park is in a great spot, across the road from the ocean. We had power & water. Not good with sites that get muddy in rain and with waste water on ground. But our biggest issue is with Bundaberg Council. We booked on 22nd June & paid a deposit of $50. We were quoted, in writing, $228 per week. That is $38 per night but stay 7 pay for 6. When we arrived on 5th August we were told fees had gone up on 1st July and we had to pay $644 for 2 weeks stay. That is in increase of $188 for the 2 weeks!! This is unethical. We were not formally advised that they were doing so. Bundaberg Council do not care, their reply to my e-mail was a fob off, so I have gone to the Bundaberg Today newspaper & they are doing a story on this next week. The managers are great, the park is in a great spot. Such a shame they ruined it for us.
Wonderful location, wonderful spot! Staff were excellent, facilities beautifully clean. Will definitely stay again.Service: 5/5
Great Spot, BEST Managers in Australia BUT The Bundaberg Shire upped the Fees $94 a week for August. There Big Cash Grab on Pensioners and Grey Nomads AND they Don’t Care. WE support Bundaberg and the Businesses and Clubs. Run OP shop tours, support Events the Bundy Bell and ALL Bundaberg YET the Shire Does this. It’s NOT a $46 a night Park. Why not a Pensioners or Seniors Discount? Fuel and Costs now make Life Hard with out a Money Hungry Shire hoping in.
Absolutely beautiful place I could see myself here full-time is that nice and pretty and people are so friendly especially the staff
Best cabin we have ever stayed in. Clean and spacious. Helpful staff.
