Lovely spot to spend a Sunday afternoon. Always find perfectly manicured floral displays. Plenty of shady spots for picnics and lawn games. Definitely worth a visit during carnival of flowers in September.

Well keep gardens, lots of big, shady trees, family friendly with play equipment and dog off leash area. Lots of seats and picnic tables for city workers to get some fresh air on their lunch break. Perfect and in the heart of town!

Lovely place. Forefathers wonderful forward thinkers with beautiful trees so much shade on a very hot day. Most enjoyable. Great memorial to those that gave their lives for this freedom

An excellent place to have lunch with friends and play lawn games. Gardenbeds are well maintained and always a delight to walk through.

During the Toowoomba Carnival of Flower this place comes to life with colour! Highly recommend visiting during September but it's great year-round. Great place to bring kids and there are plenty of photo opportunities for budding photographers.
