Went to Toowoomba Carnival of flowers. Was so beautiful and highly recommended for anyone, especially tourists from interstate. Had many activities for families and young children. I came on the day of Parade so got to see many different decorations, cars and nationalities. Recommend to arrive early next year for parking at the park. Only $5 for whole day parking. They have good info hubs that can advise you where to go. You should check it out next year!
Wonderful atmosphere with live music in Queen's Park. Something strikes a cord when you approach the garden under tree lined boulevard seeing ferris wheel turning, flowers blooming and hearing the tunes "somewhere over the rainbow". Though the floral displays of 2022 seemed lacking compared to the last two years. Devonshire tea on the grounds is cute, gluten free donut truck camped across the road too. P.S. ferris wheel is card only, $8A/$4C.
The parade has very little to do with flowers, very poor wheel chair access and is generally grubby. Avoid. The survey is o no my B interested in how much you will spend, nothing quality or feedback. Very poor effort.
The parade was great. The ferris wheel was terrific. However, sideshow alley was a disgrace. It was filthy with mud puddles. We had our grandchildren visiting from Brisbane. As we wandered through the crowd at Sideshow alley, a fight broke out close to where we were. A young female was dragged into the muddy area by her hair and had her head violently kicked by another female who was part of a group. The victim needed urgent medical care as this was a certain head injury It was terrifying for the children to witness. We subsequently left to go home and forgoing the fireworks. We were disappointed..
The level of noise is unacceptable. The live music events should be moved to a more suitable location, perhaps the showground. Those that attend the live music/food and wine events are not those interested in the carnival of FLOWERS. There is no reason these events should be held in Queens Park.
Once a year parade not to he missed
Had a wonderful time here. Beautiful flowers, fun rides, parade and musical performance. Something for everyone. Do check their schedule on what's happening. I personally enjoyed the parade.
I entered with unbridled glee and the promise of a tulip, left with an open chin flap and a belly full of granite belt wine. 10/10 would recommend
Flowers are just amazing ! So much thought and time has been put into the carnival , I have loved every minute of my time here.
Absolutely beautiful flowers that will surely give sparks to every people who loves beautiful flower bloom.
