Queens Park Toowoomba 19/05/26 continuednnA rainy very cool 16 deg while visiting this beautiful Botanical gardens, we waited for our opportunity to visit today when the rain stopped. We traveled far with our pets hence they needed a good run and a nice long walk on lead too. Toowoomba offers a variety of spacious parks with designated on-lead and off-lead areas perfect for your girls to roam. Top local spots feature massive green spaces for zooming around or wandering off-leash, and strictly enforced on-lead zones for quieter investigating.nIt's been 9 years since we visited last but the Queens Park is peaceful, tranquil and relaxing. You can enjoy yourself anytime of year. Seeing the preparation that goes into Carnival of flowers allows you to respect the time and prep that goes into it. Beautiful gardens, flower displays, amazing statues, plenty of pathways, huge tree to and beautiful birds. Childrens park areas, table a good chairs, and toilets throughout. A park for everyone to enjoy.
Well maintained Garden. The gardens are vibrant and beautifully designed, especially during the Carnival of Flowers — it feels like walking through a painting! There’s plenty of open space for picnics, walking tracks, a great playground for kids, and lots of shady spots to relax. The atmosphere is peaceful, clean, and family-friendly. Perfect place to unwind, take photos, or enjoy a day out in nature. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in Toowoomba!
Must see during the flower festival during September and October. A variety of colourful flowers and can buy snacks and ice-cream during the festival period. Btw, the parking system was bit tricky, before you walk to the payment machine you need to make a note of the parking slot ID which is located in the slot you park.
Visited during the Flower Festival season. The botanical displays are magnificent and such a vast variety of trees, gardens, lawns and floral beds. Beautifully planned and maintained. I felt immersed in nature, it was so calming.
Huge park on a sloping hillside with gigantic fir trees all through it, paths, grasslands, sports ovals, kids playgrounds with amazing equipment, random seats with beautiful views, located next door to the Toowoomba Botannic Gardens, 10mins walk to the CBD. Great place to view the sunset, fireworks, sports event, markets or music concerts.
