Project Mex

Nice ambience, good service but food was a little underwhelming. They offer the regular Tex Mex fare and other dishes with "an Aussie twist". Ordered the Pork Chilli Verde, which came with tortillas and some fried onions rings on top. The top layer of onion rings, coriander and cream was done just right but everything went downhill after that. The pork was overcooked and hard. The sauce while having the right amount of heat and spice was a tad too runny causing making the rice a soggy mess. In saying that, they are probably still the best Tex Mex (pseudo Mexican) establishment in Rockhampton. 3/5 stars.

They didn't have what I wanted (short rib) but the chicken tenders were pretty solid. Decent price.

Absolutley love this place great food and great service. Have been several times and each time have had an amazing meal...highly recommend to everyone

Absolutely disgusting service. Manager rude and condescending, wait staff even worse! Dirty tables, bland food that made me feel ill. Never going back.
