Wow, what an amazing experience! I did the 3 day/2 night liveaboard and cannot recommend it enough. The crew was phenomenal and had everything planned to a T.nnBig shout out to Atty who kept a boat of 25 people fed with awesome food for the weekend but also doubled as a dive guide nn11 dives over 3 days was jam packed and despite the weather the skipper tried his best to show us as many new dive sites as possible.nnWhether you are a certified diver already or have never dived before - this is the place to go.
My partner and I recently returned from an extraordinary liveaboard trip with Pro Dive Cairns. From the moment we boarded, Carmen the cook, Caro the captain, Ashton the dive lead, and the entire crew made us feel exceptionally welcome.nnThe organisation and clarity provided by the team were exemplary, putting us at ease instantly. Their passion for diving was infectious, making the entire experience immensely enjoyable. We completed 11 dives in 47 hours, with no pressure to do them all, allowing us to dive at our own pace.nnThe cuisine on board was nothing short of superb. Carmen's cooking skills exceeded our expectations, providing delicious meals that kept us well-fuelled for our dives.nnWe have made lifelong friendships, sharing unforgettable moments both above and below the water. Amazing time with Pro Dive. The crew was incredibly knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly. We had an amazing experience. The food was so much better than we expected for a boat trip. The accommodations were comfortable. The sites we saw on the reefs were amazing. Parker really made the dive briefings entertaining while also going over all the important stuff. Would 100% recommend.
Ashton, the Wills, Cami, and Capt were awesome. I think this is a great operation for divers who want to be able to explore the reef on their own terms. For less confident divers, there are so many courses available to do while on the live aboard. This is only the second live aboard I have done, but it was epic. They have their operation down pact, and are so friendly and helpful. Everyone was funny, and one of the Wills had the best boat playlist. We had a great crew and a great 3 day trip. Absolutely loved every second of it and will try to come again should I be able to make it back to Australia.nnP.s Ashton, the streak continues for at least one more trip ;
Learned to SCUBA dive with Pro Dive Cairns this Summer on their 5 day Liveaboard trip and I could not recommend them enough!! Completed their open water course certifying me to 18m. The first two days were theory/videos and quizzes through the PADI portal and pool instruction in Cairns. This was followed by 3 amazing days on the boat, complete with 9 dives including one night dive!. The Great Barrier Reef was such an amazing place to learn to dive! Our instructor Christin was phenomenal! I cannot give her enough praise. She was thorough with the education she gave us and is a true expert on the subject. She is an absolute asset to their group. The boat and crew are like a little family keeping everyone happy and safe during the three day trip! If you are thinking about learning to SCUBA dive at all....GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!
