The customer service today was phenomenal. I came by looking for an underwater camera but was not sure what I needed. A kind lady saw me looking lost and asked me what I was looking for. She asked me heaps of questions to find out what the right model and features I would need were. This person showed me how to use the camera, pointed out the features, and kept probing to check that it was what I needed. She was so knowledgeable about all of the cameras and explained my options in great detail. She even went as far as to explain what was available in another store too. If I ever need anything else electronic, I'll definitely be back. Attached is a gorgeous photo I took with the camera
We went in here to find any good deals on the Boxing Day sale. We went inside and kindly greeted by the security guard. We were looking around for ps5 head phones. We found them and asked if they had the white version available they only had camo and black. We asked if they had the white one available and they said they would go check. He came back in under 5 mins and said they did not have them. We said we’ll get the black one. We went to the line which was pretty big and it was moving at a pretty fast pace. When we got to the checkout the man there was very energetic and it’s what you need to brighten up your day. We told him that we had a gift card and he happily said just scan there. We got our things and left. All over an amazing experience and 100% recommend.
Just bought a new iPhone at JB Hifi. Nice store. Busy place ! Had to wait a while to get served, but staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of specials on , all the time. Currently there is a Apple Mac Book Air special, 10% off. And they have the new iPhone 13 in stock !
Wanted a Go-Pro and found a good deal on the official Go-Pro website. Asked them to price match but told they would not price match Go-Pro official website. Asked the salesman what was the best he could do for a deal today in store, told in a rude way that he wasn't going to take anything off. I was happy to pay more than the online price to buy locally but they weren't willing to budge, bought online instead and it came today very quickly. Don't bother going here.
Asked for information on a product the guy with heaps of tattoos listening to heavy metal responded with “we normally don’t open boxes to see what’s inside” even though we didn’t ask to open the box. He then added “a simple google search should suffice” I thought isn’t the point of being a staff member was to help customers? Not flog them off. He needs to do better or find another job.
Lady staff very helpful and the security guard so friendly. We bought travel hairdryer which is good. Thanks
JB hi-fi as a chain does incredible business. They have a great business model with multiple promotions, bringing customers back again and again. Their gift card have effectively no end date. Customer service is top notch when you need in store advice. You get a birthday gift and plenty of promotions to take part in through the year. Generally would beat Amazon for online tech purchases.
A good store carrying all the major brands. Competitive pricing, a good choice for electronics in Cairns.
Asked about a specfic product, but without being prompted, the assistant I'm led to believe he was a manager gave super bad advice about the product. It may not have been exactly like the competitor product, but I used Google and found information and reviews stating the item worked as I intended. This is not the first time this has happened in Cairns JB stores over the years. Always helpful, but not always accurate!
My more experienced staff than there was 2 years ago which is awesome! My experience buying computer gear was very professional. Also competitive prices compared to other major retailers.
