Went here to ask if we could get a bar stool and browsing the beds. We were greeted and shown the beds. The staff were very kind and you could see that they were in a happy mood. The signs outside the store and put up in a big bold font which attracts the eye so it’s not hard to miss. The furniture that is on display is very good quality as we have bought a couch from there it is very high quality and really comfy and just the right size. The shop was also kept very nice and tidy. There is even a electronics section to add on to an already amazing store. It has anything you need from TV’s to toaster to vacuums. It really has any electronic item. All over very good clean store and a good variety between them. 100% recommend for any furniture shopping.
Tammy, the franchisee of the bedding department is absolutely wonderful. When the bed manufacturer was unprepared to resolve their own customer's issue, Tammy stepped in and resolved it almost immediately. She placed herself in my position and understood the concern. Her actions serve to show her integrity and her dedication to ensure customer satisfaction. Highly recommended Tammy for her knowledge and years of experience.
This morning we were assisted by a really nice and very helpful man who helped choose the the right appliances for us, for our kitchen renovation. We then found out from another nice staff member just before we left that the man that helped us was the franchisee. How great to see the owner jumping on the floor to assist customers when it’s busy! Thank you to Bruce and the team at Harvey Norman Cairns once again for your service and product excellence. Every time we are in your store we always have a great experience!!
Really lovely shop, well layed out. As most things these days everything is expensive, but they do have some good deals on.
Five stars for Renata!! Brilliant service, and just gets it done. Will be sure to just see her first any time we need anything electrical. Zero stars for the rude old man in the fridge and freezer section who when asked what the best price on an item was, thrust his actual wallet in our faces and declared he was already personally losing money on the item so we may as well take his whole wallet if we wanted more money off. It was a simple question, asked without attitude or aggression which is what we got back. We did not spend the thousand dollars we had been prepared to spend with him that day. Disgusting behaviour from someone who clearly is over his job.
Great service and wide variety of items. Staff have always been very helpful. Very happy with my last purchase from Simon in TVs.
Ordered washing machine, first one broken, took photos, they collected and delivered one the next day,opened that was broken, obviously having to email and call during this time. The second time I was quite frustrated but always polite, guy on the phone said and I quote "you should think yourself Lucky you didn't have to pay for second delivery fee" I explained you sent a broken one in the first place. I was told they would send me a new lid and I asked for money off he eventually while being extremely rude the whole time said $100, never heard from them again, only samsung who are sorting out the replacement lid. Who know nothing about money off or anything. Samsung lovely. Never again would I use good guys. So rude and unhelpful. Please Train your staff in customer service! It's really not hard!
Staff simply sat around either on their phones playing around or talking socially with each other. We had the intention of buying a fridge but left after 20 - 25 mins of looking and not one staff member approached us.
Have bought a few things from this store and have had some terrible customer service to the point of walking out and buying elsewhere in the past. However, on two or three occaisions including today I have been served by a girl called Renata who provides absolutely exceptional customer service. She's extremely helpful, very happy and friendly and she looks to really enjoy helping people as she did today with me with a faulty coffee machine I have been having issues with. She resolved the problem in minutes and sets the lead in customer service and how staff should interact with the customer. Not to take anything from Paris who also did a great job too. Thanks Renata!
Wow, we haven't been here since 2020 when we purchased a Lazy Boy Chaise. The store is enormous, after their renovation. I only browsed today, but they have some lovely items.
