Divers Den has been proudly operating for over 40 years, we are not only one of the largest but also the longest established Great Barrier Reef operator in Cairns. In 2017 we have expanded into Port Douglas with our newest vessel AquaQuest and a brand new retail store. Whether you're a first-time snorkeller or an experienced SCUBA diver your safety and enjoyment is our priority.

I just wanted to say for anyone considering doing the 4 day Open Water live aboard PADI course, it’s a must! I cannot fault the professionalism and fantastic teaching we had. We were lucky enough to have Alice teach us and she was fantastic. I’m quite a nervous swimmer, especially in the sea and I had never dived before. Alice was so patient and lovely and did not give up on me despite me having some problems where I struggled with my ears and the mask exercise in the sea. If it wasn’t for Alice and her endurance I honestly don’t think I would have passed let alone learnt to love scuba diving. Thank you again Alice for giving me the confidence and believing in me. And the rest of the team were awesome too. The only regret I have is that I didn’t book 2 night’s onboard as I miss the crew already

Fantastic. Thank you Deep Sea Divers Den for your staff food and hospitality. 5 Star rating for sure on Ocean Quest. I can not point a thing that was out of place. Will definately recommend to anybody at any time.

Awesome, guys! I took my open water PADI diving course with DSDD, being one day theory, one day pool training, and 3 days/2 nights at their live aboard boat Ocean Quest. Kat, our instructor, was amazing. All the crew at Ocean Quest was great, and the dives (and all help and service at the boat) were terrific. I would recommend, and I would definitely come back.

The boat was brand new and the crew was very helpful. I did the intro to scuba day trip and the team couldn't have been more patient and helpful. Lunch was plentiful and delicious. There was plenty of crew on the team and they were thorough in their safety procedures. It was a wonderful day!

Snorkeling was AMAZING! Saw a bunch of turtles and reef sharks. The crew were very friendly, helpful, and fun. The included lunch was great(chicken, sandwich meat, soup,bread,pasta,and Salad). Overall, such a great experience.
