Loved our stay once again. Owners Sandy and Darryl along with Pam make you feel really welcome from check in to check out. Kid free for us is just perfect The park itself has everything you need for your dogs including doggy day care. Amenities are kept spotless and free live music. Within walking distance to the Main Street and beaches. There is also an amazing off leash dog park close by. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great park with a friendly atmosphere and very reasonably priced.
My husband and I and our Whippet, Hastings, have just enjoyed a week’s stay at Prime Pet Friendly Tourist Park - our second stay at this wonderful caravan park - and cannot praise or recommend it highly enough! The owners, Sandi and Darryl, are so friendly and accommodating, as are their staff. The amenities and facilities are always spotlessly clean and the park beautifully well-kept. In addition, it is perfectly placed for a short walk to shops, great cafes, the boardwalk and the beach. We particularly appreciate what Darryl and Sandi are offering with their unique park experience, that being pet-friendly, with so many carefully thought-out facilities for dogs, and child-free - with me working in education and us being parents of now-adult children, we love children dearly but value having our holiday time without their constant exuberance! It also creates a nice, friendly atmosphere having others around who enjoy holidaying with their dogs. On this stay, we had a particularly scary situation where our Whippet got away from us in a split second of inattention, then got scared and ran out of the park and across the road, heading who-knows-where in his panic; thankfully he was caught relatively quickly with no further calamity. Aside from being a very good example of why your dog should be on a leash every second when outside, this also showed the care and empathy of the owners, staff and also fellow guests. Thank you so much to Sandi, who helped retrieve our dog, to Pam who was so caring to us and our dog in our fright, and to other guests who assisted and comforted. This will definitely not be our last stay at Prime; we have already been talking about when we will camp there next! We will also continue our personal recommendations for this great park - we tell everyone about the unique experience on offer here - as we think it is fantastic!
Our 3 night stay with our Cavalier, was very enjoyable. The park is close to the beach, shops and all facilities. Perfect place to stay with a small dog. The staff are very friendly and shared their local knowledge with us. Lovely walks, cafes etc, are all close by. Thank you for welcoming us all to your pet friendly holiday park. We would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family, and look forward to staying again in the future.
I recently stayed 4 nights in a cottage at this lovely Park. Having stayed before it is always great to return and see what updates / works have been done. Fabulous location with everything in walking distance. The park is kept extremely clean and tidy with the cottages and cabins also of a high standard. The owners are super friendly and other guests always up for a chat. It’s wonderful to have a pet friendly park so close to town that is also an absolute pleasure to stay at. Can’t wait to return.
Left yesterday after a 10 day stay over Xmas New Year...... had such a good holiday here! Beautiful site under the tree, great location close to town especially the Servo and the footbridge over to the Entrance walk, well maintained amenities. a pool for the hot days, friendly fellow campers and cabin dwellers, and great people running the park and working here. Loved it that most people had dogs, and it was surprisingly mellow for the number of dogs there. Did not miss having children around, especially in the pool! I was sad to leave..... we've been on the road for 9 months, and this felt like a real holiday, I hope we will find our way back again.
We loved our three days at Prime with our two doggies. It’s peaceful and friendly and close to everything you need. Showers and laundry were great and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Play area for dogs and dog wash were well maintained and helpful. A lovely little park with very reasonable fees and Lakes Entrance is a magical spot to stay. Thank you
Hands down one of the BEST places we have stayed. We have been road tripping around Australia and we were delighted when we found this campsite that can only be described as paradise. The host are absolutely lovely, super accommodating and friendly. They really made us feel so welcome! One of the few adult only campsites in Australia and it was heaven! We got to enjoy the day at the pool on site without any children, pure bliss! The facilities on site are incredibly clean and the bathrooms are lovely! Felt like a hotel set up here! They are 100% pet friendly, and whilst we didn’t have a dog with us, we loved seeing our neighbouring dogs have the best time at this campsite. The list could go on forever about this place. We can’t wait to come back and visit. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Amazing! Thank you so much for having us!
Our 2 night stay late November 2022 was quite enjoyable. It was lovely for ourselves and our pet dog to be made to feel so welcomed. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the facilities clean and comfortable. The location also is excellent for an easy walk to local shops, Beach and along the esplanade. Highly recommend and is definitely a place we will return to.
Pam is a great asset to this park. From the moment we checked in she was very helpful and welcoming to us and our pooch. She was also very friendly throughout our stay. We stayed in a Onsite Van which was clean and comfortable. Even our dog was looked after with a dinner/water bowl, poo bags and bath towel provided. Close to town a added bonus. If you are looking for a budget and pet friendly holiday, can highly recommend this park.
Myself, partner and our pup stayed at Prime and I honestly couldn’t recommend this place more if I tried. It’s in a fantastic location only a couple mins walk to the Main Street and beach. The staff are so extremely lovely as well and very welcoming! The facility’s are so clean and nice. On-site is a pool, laundry, dog playground and even a dog bath. They offer doggy daycare which was a massive bonus for us as we have been travelling for 3 weeks with our dog, this allowed my partner and I to have some time to ourselves and do things together alone also very very affordable!! I would highly recommend this park to all my family and Friends and anyone who is looking for a dog friendly place to stay!! Thank you guys again for having us and for looking after our pup we cannot thank you enough!!!
