Great atmosphere and the food was exceptional in quality! All the food on the plate complimented each other and although they probably had many dishes to serve as it was very busy it appeared that they had take care to plate up and cook everything to perfection. Good beer and good food - don’t think anything more needs to be said!

Really fun pub. Loved that there weren't TV's on everywhere like in most pubs,I could actually hear the friends I went there to have a good time with. Played some pool. The food was great. Everyone had a good time. The brisket was wonderful, the goat cheese was a little too much goat cheese and nothing to go with it.

Met some old friends here and the warm, cost atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for a catch up. The amazing selection of beer and good selection of whiskeys made it an enjoyable afternoon. For snacks, the pork cracking was perfect. Good mix of locals and visits and helpful staff. Will visit again. One of the best in Christchurch.

Great range of beers, friendly bar staff and good food . Homely feel. Everything you’d expect in a country style pub. Enjoyed the experience.
