Piccolino Restaurant in Mount Waverley offers an exceptional dining experience. The friendly staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. It's a special occasion and so we wanna have something very different from our usual dining places. We found this Italian restaurant and made reservation in advance.nnService [4] & Ambience [3] Ok I got to split the rating. Firstly, great servicing and friendly staff. Always or almost available to attend to you. About the restaurant, once you step in you are like wow, beautiful decorated in a warm yellow setting. Walking up the stairs which our table is reserved, you will find the space is quite cramped. My chair is almost close the one behind me, making walking space limited. With the cold night, most customers have their big and thick coat, and no coat hanger in sight everyone hang them on their chair. For the night, we felt warm and after sipping the cocktails, we got warmer. We told the waiter, then the environment got better, but soon the warm returns. Not sure what happened to their air-conditioning.nnFood [4]. Yeah we like the food we ordered and something unique for some. For the Porterhouse steak, it's not the best cook. Love the deserts and glad we have ordered.nnWhen we walked down to the cashier, the air is much cooler. Perhaps next time if we return, we might ask for ground level.
My partner and I came here on our 2 year anniversary for dinner on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was lovely and chatted filled the room, although slightly cold. We got unlucky with our table and were next to the fridge with drinks in it.nnThe service was pretty good they gave us space to enjoy our meal and staff were easy to get attention with eye contact as they were always looking out for their tables.nnThe food was quite delicious. In particular the mushroom pasta was our highlight. If you order the chilli jam bacon oysters they are very yummy but the temperature is HOT when they came out. We slightly burnt our tongues at the start of the meal but still enjoyed everything nevertheless.
We booked a table for 6 here for my sister's birthday. The experience overall was quite fine, and service was done well. The food presentation was fantastic and the taste also very good. It was quite a busy evening when we went so the food took a bit longer than we liked and it was also very noisy.nnAlso do note that you have to give your card details when booking to secure a spot.nnOtherwise, we had an enjoyable time. Pizzas and pastas were equally great!
How beautiful this place is. We enjoyed our 2nd floor view very much. The food was ok in general, the mushroom gnocchi is the best dish we had. Definitely going back when we have any special occasion.
