I have tried many dishes here, one of my favourite Sri Lankan food restaurants in Melbourne.nTry anything, you won’t be disappointed.nMy favourite is Kothu and also Hoppers.
I would rate it zero if I had a chance.Shocked to see someone in the kitchen eating food and preparing.This is just not acceptable.nOur table number was 6 and we could literally see what was going on .nThe environment and vibe was good but I would say the basics are not right here at all.nWe just hope that the management does something about this ,if not I am pretty sure they can't sustain .
Authentic Sri Lankan dishes and cricket themed ambience was the highlight at Upali’s. Love the menu specially the hot butter cuttle fish, tempered egg plant, dhal and fried chill prawns. Wattalappan was amazing. Only thing was that the service was a bit slow. Place has a full bar, kids area, function room upstairs and beer garden. Highly recommended.
This restaurant in Melbourne serves some of the finest Sri Lankan cuisine. The food is incredibly tasty and diverse, with generous portions. The menu offers a wide range of options.
Food and place is good. But service is bad. So understaffed and so some of our orders were missed sparkling water, roti.
