I was feeling a bit stressed, so I visited Pet City yesterday.A very kind staff who works there explained to me how to take care of a parrot. She also told me that if I want to keep a turtle, parrot, snake, or other reptiles, I need a license. I didn’t know this before.nI didn’t buy a pet yesterday, but thanks to her patient explanation, I now understand that having a pet is like raising a child—you need to be well prepared. I really appreciate her kindness. I forgot to ask her name, but this place made me feel warm and happy.nHighly recommend!
You need a different courier company.nI ordered 2 weeks ago and fish food is yet to arrived.nI would have been better waiting for my day off and done the 35 min drive myself.nnUpdate,,,,,,nnAfter lodging a complaint this morning with the courier, item arrived , lucky it wasn't fragile.nLook at the box condition.
Easily one of the best pet stores in South East Queensland! Huge range of every pet product you could possibly want. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their work.nnHuge variety of livestock including invertebrates, birds, tropical fish, reptiles and more. Their husbandry is always upkept and in great condition.nnDefinitely worth a visit for any of your pet needs.
During the past week I’ve called possibly 15+ pet stores in the Brisbane region in regards to setting up a Bearded Dragon enclosure. Most places apart from one other had the same answer “come in and look” and wanted not much to do with us via phone.nnThis was the case until I rang Pet City, initially I spoke with a young female who was fantastic. She answered all of our questions and we decided to head in-store. While in-store we were introduced to Holly, she was welcoming, happy, enthusiastic and knowledgeable- just all round fantastic. Holly guided us through the list of things we would need prior to picking up our scaled friend, picking up bits we had looked over. She went above and beyond & was just an all round legend that turned a “possible sale” into a $1500 while gaining another customer.nnThis type of customer service is dying and you should be proud to have such happy and enthusiastic team. Well done all, and thank-you Holly.
Love my bearded dragon from Pet City! Professional service, informed advice. Thorough process checking that customers know how to care for their animals prior to purchase. They even have vet checks prior to sale. Excellent store!
