Not a good station in Sydney. There are people smoking everywhere, and the staff don't even give attention.nnThey have an area for disabled boarding and a marker showing the quiet carriage QC.nnOverall 2 stars, could've been better.
Penrith railway station is a heritage-listed railway station located on the Main Western line in the western Sydney suburb of Penrith. The station is served by Sydney Trains T1 Western Line services and NSW TrainLink Blue Mountains Line, Central West XPT and Outback Xplorer services. Reasonable passenger amenities in the station premises.
Plenty of free parking for commuters! However, the parking bays are quite narrow, so the average person might struggle to park within the lines.
Decent station and a connecting trains to Blue Mountain via Springwood. Vending machine in all platforms. Lift access is also available.
This was my second visit to Penrith. I liked that place as it was quite, clean and not crowded.
