Four of us plus baby had the pleasure of staying at the Pearl of the Bay over  Easter weekend 2018. We were all very impressed with our accommodation,  so peaceful and quiet -and the views magical. Love the location it is awesome, away from the mainstream hustle and bustle yet short walking distance to main center and beaches. The units are very well appointed and equipped. The place was spotless on arrival and cleaned daily during our stay. Barbara is very friendly and helpful which made us all feel very welcome.  I would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.  Its a gem, credit to you and your staff..

A wonderful welcome from Barbara the Manager. Very comfortable beds, and a very quiet environment. The unit I stayed in which was an upgrade, thank you was spacious and very well appointed. Lovely area at the back of all units for outside eating etc. The motel has an eco-friendly approach, encouraging guests to be mindful of the environment.  The unit I stayed in had beautiful views of the Opua/Russell Harbour.  Pahia, Waitangi and the Opua/Russell Ferry all within easy reach.

This place is fantastic. Great location, amazing views, very good facilities. Barbara the manager is super lovely and made us feel very welcome even with all of our phonecalls prior to check in. We highly recommended Pearl of they Bay for anybody wanting a relaxing getaway in Paihia. Only a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk and you are in the heart of a wonderful town.

Popped up to Paihia over the weekend and stayed at the Bali Hai Motel for the night in room 9.  We parked our car in the covered parking right beneath our unit and headed up to our room.  The elevation of the motel lends itself to breathtaking views over the bay and valley which we could fully appreciate both from the windows of our unit and the cute outdoor seating area. The interior was comfortably appointed with an L-shaped couch in the lounge, TV's in both the lounge and bedroom, a well organised kitchen and a modern, fully tiled bathroom with glass shower. The cleaning standard was outstanding with not even a single speck of calcium build up, scale or mould visible anywhere even on the shower glass or in the grout.  It's obvious that great care is taken to keep the Bali Hai Motel in prime condition. Although the motel is not on the waterfront, it was a 2 min drive down to the waters edge and all the local restaurants.  We'll definitely be staying here again.

Excellent place to stay. Very clean room. Comfortable beds & other furniture, beautiful view from the room, friendly manager.  Couldn't ask for more ! Truly "Pearl of the bay".
