I had a pretty strict regime of medications for two weeks, 24 hours of urine, a midnight saliva test and then fasting for a blood test.. I arrived for my blood test pretty stressed, hungry and needing a coffee.. Upon arrival I was attended to immediately and the whole process was clearly explained to me including having to lay down for 30 minutes prior to the test.. The attendant was a lovely young lass that was kind and friendly and had me relaxed and calm easily. 30 minutes went in no time and my bloods were taken successfully and I was free to go.. Great service, made my fear of blood taking disappear completely. Highly recommended service
They don’t receive the call specifically the Belmont brach and whenever I go to do the glucose taste they said it needs apportionment first but they never receive the phone. I had to go there physically to take appointment. The behaviour of the oldest lady was ridiculous.

I was treated by a student pathologist today. I was not asked if this was ok, nor informed of this. Made me apprehensive. While he was supervised, I still felt uncomfortable and would have preferred a trained pathologist to carry out my blood tests. Only went t here because it was free. Otherwise I have a usual pathologist who provides excellent service and always informs me of what if going on.
I have had the best experience here. I have to have regular blood tests taken. Staff are friendly, caring and thorough. Great job team
Please note that you need an appointment if attending after 12:00 PM. This is something that should be made clear by the site prior to people attending pointlessly and wasting their time. While there is another pathology clinic next door, it closes at 4:00 PM and it’s only bulk billed for a small group of people.
I honestly couldn't be happier with my experience at Pathwest Belmont. I went in for my pregnancy glucose test 3 tests each 1 hour apart. They were friendly and so gentle when taking blood. I was extremely tired and started dosing off in their waiting room so they took me to a room and gave me a bed for me to nap between tests. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them for future tests.
Had a blood test at PathWest Belmont it's the right place here. The blood test was done by Dany, she is really good and gently doesn't leave the bruising at all.
Would rate ZERO stars!! Rude and unhelpful. The lady couldn’t spare a few minutes while I filled out the details on my fresh sample pot and signed the request, before going on lunch for an hour!! So unprofessional, the lady closed the door in my face. Unacceptable customer service. I had an urgent fresh sample to drop off and I will be so disappointed if my results come back inconclusive because the lady wanted lunch. Being a nurse myself I would never turn away a patient, very disappointed after coming off night shift to be treated like this. My results came back inconclusive!!
Zero service, book an appointment and you don't even see anyone at their 'reception' for 20 mins. Two and a half days later, still in pain. The young kid taking blood was in such a rush, and my wife is still suffering
