The GP itself has good drs, hence 3 stars. But my after two appointments with Dr Mukta Barua, this is the first time I’ve felt the need to make a formal complaint. My first appointment was almost 4 hours late. It was a Telehealth consult, and she began the call irritated she couldn’t hear me. She cut me off multiple times as I tried to explain I needed an ultrasound, for a pre-existing lump id had for 4 years that was getting increasingly sore. She said I was young, disregarded my family history of cancer & previous medical advice post biopsy to have it monitored yearly which I told her I hadn’t managed due to having a baby. She refused and hung up mid call. Another GP strongly recommended my ultrasound, then I saw this Dr again for results as no one else was available. She then sounded concerned about the findings, advising a biopsy, but again gave me no clear answers on where to go, how to get my referral and hung up mid sentence from me. I called the medical centre to clarify instructions and was yelled at, told what I heard wasn’t said and I was confused. I have worked in the medical profession as a nurse and am so disgusted someone can have such little empathy and bedside manner.
I visited Dr Rosalind Ho on Sunday. She ran 30 minutes late for my appointment but this is not what I am upset about because I understand anything health care in Australia takes that long anyway.nnI gave Dr Ho a quick search before I booked with her. Online, her profiles claim to be “passionate about building strong, lasting relationships with her patients and providing care that is both thorough and compassionate.” I experienced the complete opposite. She would consistently cut me off when I tried to explain my issues. Her tone was evident she wanted to move quickly which showed me a lack of care. I felt her analysis of my situation was too quick as she didn’t let me finish with all the details I felt were necessary to share. I think patients will understand you running late if you showed some duty to care, Dr Rosalind.nnThe way she spoke to the receptionist was straight up rude and condescending. We understand you are busy. Just because you are in a rush doesn’t mean it’s fair to treat the receptionist or your patient that way.nnI would not recommend seeing Dr Ho unless you’re really really desperate which was my case since it was a Sunday. 1 star for Dr Ho, zero if Google allowed it. 5 stars for the kind receptionist.
I think a lot before saying anything to anyone but this is seriously disappointing. I would never write this if it wasn’t too much.. It’s actually very sad to see a health professional like this. I had an appointment with Dr Mukta Barua. I waited 1 hour.nThe ear examination was painful as the instrument was inserted too deeply. When I reacted, she said, “now you screamed, now I know the diagnosis,” which was very unprofessional.nThroughout the appointment, I felt unheard. I also requested a blood test form which I’ve easily received from other GPs since last 4 years being in Australia but she kept saying I asking too much and book another appointment for this because 4 other patients are waiting outside but after multiple explanations which made the consultation unnecessarily long, i finally got it. My overall consultation was less than 15 mins still charged 130$ even though the delay and extra time were caused by the doctor.nAs someone in healthcare, I understand the importance and power of communication and kindness in patient care, and I found this experience disappointing.
I would give this medical centre 0 stars if I could.nnThe administration staff are consistently rude and unhelpful. Every time I’ve attended, I’ve been left waiting for at least an hour, and in some cases up to three hours. During these waits, I checked in with reception each hour, only to be treated dismissively and told I was “next,” which turned out to be completely untrue. On one occasion, the doctor had actually skipped my appointment entirely, and the staff either didn’t notice or chose not to address it honestly.nnTo make matters worse, I was specifically instructed by a doctor to book a double consultation to go over blood test results. When I returned, the appointment lasted less than five minutes, and I was even questioned about why I had booked such a long session, despite following their exact instructions.nnIt’s also very telling that you can see multiple patients leaving the centre visibly upset and annoyed, clearly frustrated with the lack of care and poor service. This doesn’t seem like an isolated experience, it reflects a broader pattern of disorganisation and disregard for patients.nnOverall, the experience has been frustrating, disorganised, and disrespectful of patients’ time. I would not recommend this medical centre to anyone.
Their call reception system is terrible. When you call, an AI assistant answers first and asks why you are calling. After you explain the reason, the call is transferred to reception, but the call disconnects automatically after two rings.nIt’s almost useless to call them because, to actually speak with someone at reception, you usually have to call 8 or 9 times. It’s honestly better to go there in person and speak with them face to face.

This clinic's other team members are all good one of the receptionists is not good. she doesn't know how to do customer service. she is so fucking annoyed with the customers. The manager of this clinic must change her position because she can't do any customer service. I think she is about 40 or 45 years old.
