I wanted to share my experience and thank the lovely receptionist I spoke to today. I had a bit of a weird situation where my new phone had a recycled number of one of the clinic's patient's, and I had gotten a text that she had attended the clinic. I called the receptionist so that I could maybe see if someone could reach out to the patient or her next of kin to advise that a random stranger in WA was getting her information. The receptionist I unfortunately missed her name at the start of the conversation was absolutely lovely and understanding, and took my concern seriously. Although I am not from NT, I wanted to say my experience with the receptionist was very pleasant and a huge shout out to her! :
I've previously had really amazing experiences with this clinic as you can see below, which is why this most recent experience probably struck deeper than it normally would have.nnIt's clear the management have failed to implement proper training with new staff. The new receptionist Holly was exceedingly rude when I called to book an appointment, I asked to speak to someone else and was helped by a more experienced staff member Nicki. I could still however hear her in the background swearing.nnThe second receptionist was very helpful and professional, I was unable to book another appointment but she did send a message to my GP and an alternative was sorted, that I very much appreciate, but it's clear not enough training is done before new admin staff interact with patients.nnI feel the new staff could be properly educated on the importance of professionalism and appropriate use of language. I fear it reflects negatively on how the clinic is run overall. The few more senior receptionists I am familiar with seem overwhelmed, and I worry at how apparent the lack of support is. I hope FCD works to improve their training and support for existing staff members.nnI will leave my previous comment below, as I still believe the standard of care delivered by the doctors to be exceptionally high. Every doctor I have seen is incredibly professional, diligent and caring. Unfortunately, receptionists are the first and last thing you see as a patient. I really do hope to see improvement in the future, as I do genuinely love this clinic, and hope to keep coming as a patient in future.nnWonderful reception staff, and Dr Lwin is so thorough! Always felt taken care of & looked after :D
I am a regular patient at GP Superclinic, I have been in this clinic for years and I have never encountered such a horrible experience with a receptionist until now!!!nnI was checked in by a staff member named Holly, whose behaviour was extremely rude and unprofessional. She had a nasty attitude towards me an elderly and was visibly rolling her eyes at both patients and her colleagues!!! This kind of conduct is completely unacceptable in a healthcare setting and made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected!!!nnI attempted to raise this concern with management at the time, however I was told they were “busy” and was directed to send an email to FCD Health instead. This response felt dismissive and unhelpful. I am an elderly person and not a very technologically my grandson is helping me with technology. I have sent my complaint and no response, whatsoever!! Did Holly delete my email or it was just ignored!?nnDue to this experience, I do not wish to be seen by Holly again! In fact, it has impacted me to the point where I will no longer be returning to this clinic!nnThis is particularly disappointing as I have had such positive experiences in the past, especially with Dr Lwin, who has been incredibly supportive and helpful with my plan management. It is unfortunate that one staff member’s behaviour has affected my decision to continue attending.nnIf you are a new customer don’t come to this clinic!
I presented at palmerston urgent care from an accident and this little asian girl was just so helpful, always smiling at patients and very cheerful i never felt nervous i felt at ease as i was taken care by the doctor and nurse.nnNeed more happy reception like that girl she made and helped the environment calm and more welcoming for myself and everyone else and i hope to see her smiling face more often at urgent care nnno name tag was with her though and i forgot her name i hope she gets the recognition she deserves i gave her and the staff doctor and nurse a big satisfaction
Awful experience, staff are clearly overworked with piles and piles of paperwork in front of all of them. Management seems to be a myth as they clearly have no support, asked too see someone from management and they said they are not even there and if they can pass a message. Clearly management here is extremely lazy. First time customer and what an awful experience I won't be coming back here not even the Drs fault she was okay but you can just tell when a clinic is run horribly and this is one of them. Don't go here.
