I’m very disappointed at the standard of services at Top End Medical.nnMy appointment was changed without any notice, and the following appointment was delayed by over an hour, significantly disrupting my day. On top of that, I was expected to attend in person instead of the originally scheduled Telehealth appointment—something that simply wasn’t feasible for me.nnIt’s disheartening to see such a lack of communication and consideration. It shouldn’t be too much to expect healthcare services that are both affordable and reliable.
had a very disappointing experience at Top End Medical casuarinaon 7th November 2025. I took my 6-week-old baby for the routine 6-week immunisation vaccines which are required under the Australian National Immunisation Schedule, but the doctor incorrectly told me the vaccines were not needed until 8 weeks.nThis misinformation caused an unnecessary delay in my baby’s vaccination. When I called the clinic later to raise my concern, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake — I was simply told I could rebook with the same doctor and “ask the doctor not to charge” for the previous visit.nThis is not acceptable, especially when it comes to something as important as a baby’s health. I expected better professionalism and accountability from a medical clinic.nWe have also sent a formal email to the clinic and are still waiting for a reply.nI hope the clinic takes this feedback seriously and ensures that accurate medical advice and respectful communication are provided to patients in the future.
We booked an afternoon appointment for our 5-month-old daughter, who had a fever of nearly 39 °C. Unfortunately, we had to wait nearly 40min before seeing the doctor, during which our baby was crying non-stop despite our best efforts to comfort her. We understand delays can happen when the clinic is busy, so we tried to be patient.nnJust before the doctor came out, we had to quickly change our baby’s nappy as she was extremely uncomfortable. We explained the situation to the doctor and returned in about three minutes, only to find the consultation room door locked. About five minutes later, the doctor opened the door but immediately walked off after noticing the booking was under my birth date instead of my daughter’s. We asked reception to correct the record right away, but the doctor, Nxxxxla, never came back or gave any indication of when she would return. We were fortunate enough there was another GP available who was able to help.nnOverall, the experience was disappointing and unprofessional. We believe there are other GPs who show far more understanding and care, especially when treating infants.

You handled my situation with confidence and clarity, and I genuinely appreciated it. Thank you for ensuring everything ran smoothly and for the support when it was needed.
I have found more and more that appointment scheduled by doctors were not being valued, as our patients time is not important enough!nnWaiting times more than an hour to see GP is unacceptable!nnDoctors should consider our patients caregivers times equally important as them!nnI am stating this and even speaking to the doctors herself it’s been ignore! She said we were too busy!nnIf you are too busy! take less patients or if need longer appointments request to have it rescheduled for longer appointments!nnBe considered for everyone times! I am sure all this can be sorted in a better situation!
