Will remain a customer here unless staffing changes and I’d follow An to wherever she would move to. Just as I followed her from her former chemist. I simply love the Pharmacists and Customer Service staff here. I need to take a lot of medication and due to the type of some of them I could only receive a weeks worth at a time, so I was going in each week, now it is once every two weeks. My medication is ready to collect as soon as I walk in, rarely have I had to wait and those times were due to the sheer volume of customers who were there before me. I have known 2 of the Pharmacists and 2 of the Customer Service staff for many years now. They are an integral part of my medical support team and have always gone above and beyond for me, including virtually catching me once when I was incredibly sick and got dizzy, they seated me, offered me water and just monitored me until I was ok. I’m not ashamed to admit that on many occasions my emotions have run high and I’ve broken down in front of them and without fail they have always soothed me and even given me a hug. Thank you for the incredible support you have shown me over the years.
DO NOT USE THEM !! Matilda missled me re medication DID NOT RETURN THE ORIGINAL SCRIPT .. where is it? How am I suppose to now get the required medication ?? Not nice !! waited for 15 mins for nothing and no apology?? Refused to take scripts for future dispensing ?? Then lied to me re who the owner was so i couldnt complain and I said to her not sure why your lying to me and stating anne is the owner when she is not ?? she responded I forgot who the owner is ?? Fancy that !! Keep up the good work Anne .. Still saying nasty things about your previous employer ? still allowing the other staff to say the same horrible things to the customers ? Still trying to make up stories to barr everyone who caught you out ? Now teaching young kids how to lie and tell tales to falsely refuse customers that require life saving medication keeping the script and not allowing me to get the medication at all !!.why would you do that ? How's that working for you ? I just wonder does the real owner know what your up to ? Who cares !! The way you treat people is not nice !! You are an evil and discusting person !!
Unfriendly and unhelpful service every time I have been. They are my new local pharmacy and I have had around 10 bad experiences with them. There is no way to file a written complaint directly with the pharmacy. I will not be returning. They did not accept a script written by the doctor for 100mg of medication even though that was the dose I take. They refused because the tablets come in 50mg tablets only I take 2 a day. They sent me away to return to my doctor for a new script in the mean time I went to an alternative pharmacist who had no issue filling this script and gave me two 50mg boxes. They then would not give me 2 repeats of the 50mg script so that I could get the full 100mg dose prescribed to me the script had 6 repeats on and again other pharmacists have had no issue giving me 2 repeats at once. Then they did not have the medication in stock and had to order it in. When I returned they had lost my script and took 20minutes to find it again. I asked if they could keep my scripts on file. When I went to pay for my script at the counter they returned my prescription with the repeats did not keep it on file for me as requested. After 4 visits to get the one script filled I still only left with half the dose required. This is a life saving medication for me. I am just glad that other pharmacies were able to give me the medication in the mean time. I have never had this issue at other pharmacies. Will be taking an extra 10minutes drive to avoid this pharmacy at all costs in future!!! This is not my first issue like this at this pharmacy. Other times they have given me all repeats at once when I only asked for one repeat. When I said I couldn’t afford to buy them all at once they said “but it’s more convenient for us to do it this way otherwise we have to split the box”.
I have found the staff at Optimal plus always helpful. The pharmacist in charge is very knowledgeable not surprisingly .I don't know how the previous reviewer could complain that a medication would not be given without seeing her child. I couldn't imagine a doctor prescribing or diagnosing without seeing a patient. Strange world we live in when we don't appreciate our professionals! Well done Optimal ...keep smiling !
It has been a great pleasure to get my prescriptions and advice from the Optimal chemist. The pharmacist Alex has always been very professional in her approach to customers with a great attitude to go with it , I always leave feeling very satisfied with the service given. I can recommend the professional manner in which the business is run. I hope to use the service's of Optimal Pharmacy for many years to come
The pharmacist made a mistake with my script. I called and the young person who answered the call was helpful. When I returned to the pharmacy to rectify their mistake, the pharmacist was condescending and patronising. She was deflecting the blame to my partner, who dropped the script off. The script was clearly marked with instructions. If she had apologised it would not have been a problem, people make mistakes. But DO NOT speak down to me or be defensive and deflect your mistake.
Really, really disappointed with how a mix up with prescriptions was dealt with. Was turned away by the pharmacist in charge who basically refused to help. Very poor customer service skills and I'm shocked by the lack of concern particularly when because the issue has not been rectified, our poor aunt does not have the drugs she needs. However, the staff on the shop floor were very helpful and understanding.
Zero service! 3 times in the last year I have attempted to buy things, and ended up dumping things on the counter and leaving after waiting for 10 mins. This is even after making eye contact with the pharmacist. I'd never trust them with an actual script. I'll never go back!
The staff member who served me was quite rude and dismissive to my request. Very unhelpful with no customer service skills. I was not impressed and expected more from a pharmacy who have supported my client for several years with medication. I have never written a review before but felt inclined to after the service I received today. It is clear they do not care and cannot take responsibility for their own errors.
Have been a regular customer for approximately 10+ years and the previous pharmacist was fantastic...the current pharmacist is rude and dismissive. I am completely shocked at how indifferent she is and i genuinely don't think she's cares about the customers wellbeing in the slightest. Incompetent rude arrogant woman.
