If there was no stars that would be better. The guy was rude! They have a table and chairs but instead of letting paying customers use it elderly customers they refused even though it wasn’t in use. Dad started with food on floor before we moved so he can use side chairs to out food on. Maybe it’s a culture thing? He said ‘tables aren’t for eating on’
It has just become worse as time goes. I rate this as one of the worst takeaways in Auckland.nnToday the fish portion was tiny, almost the same size as a crab stick. They use long thinner pieces of fish. I called back to complain, and he told me if I dont like it I must not come to his shop. Plain rude. The other day I asked for salt and vinegar. The guy said sorry they don't do that here, no stock.nnTo me salt and vinegar is a standard item for fish and chips.nnI've downgraded you to 1 star, I was looking for 0 stars.nnYou only have to ask me once to go to another shop. Done, you won't see me again!!
Typical Kiwi fish and chip shop. Has fresh snapper. For some reason they have maintained the social distancing table and screens from years ago so it can be a little hard to communicate with the staff from a distance. In terms of portion size - the minimum chips is enough for 1 adult and 1 child. The snapper portions are very large.
Been going to this takeaway for 6 years and had excellent fish n chips. The last two times they have been rubbish the fish cut was so thin you could spit through them price has gone up the quality and value had taken a big dive. Time to find another shop in Papakura
Didn't feel like cooking after xmas...$5 a scoop...$10 was not fitting for the mouths it was going to feed.. but they were yum. Went else where for more.
