We recently had to take our beautiful cat Bella to be put to sleep, an absolutely heartbreaking process that the team at Onewa vets made as comfortable, private, and peaceful as possible. I can not recommend them highly enough for the care they've provided for Bella in the time we've been taking her there. Thank you so much to Richard and the team for everything you've done for Bella, especially the care and compassion in her final moments Also to the guy in the waiting room who saw the state I was in and followed me out to pass on your condolences and to give me and my Mum a hug, I don't know if you'll ever see this but thank you so much, that was such a kind caring gesture that made that horrible day better, we definitely need more humans in this world like you!
Onewa Road Vets have been incredible. We have a 14 year old Shih Tzu and they have solved so many of his ‘issues’ - far more than previous vets. They are the epitome of kindness and compassion and they don’t treat you like you know nothing. They are incredibly respectful and professional. We would not go anywhere else and are incredibly grateful to have found them.
Had a great experience at this vet as a professional dog trainer. Allowed my client with aggression issues to come in and train several times, took time out of their schedules to help us and gave some really good advice on how to make things easier for him in the long term. They were very committed on making this is a successful experience for the owner and their dog. Really impressed.
I don't really write reviews, but this vet service was just amazing. The doctors were real nice and friendly, very educative and professional, providing best service to my pet. In addition, they have online booking system which was very easy to use + price for the consultation was very kind relative to other vets.
Highly recommend this practice all the staff are so kind and caring. Especially Habin she is an incredible vet, so thorough with her examination and explainations. She is so skilled, kind and amazing! Our dog absolutely loved her which made the whole experience a million times better and easier! Can’t recommend Habin and this clinic enough this is the 3rd vet we’ve tried so we are very happy to say our little man has finally found the wonderful vet we’ve all been looking for!
Richard and the vet nurse team at Onewa Road Vet were kind and caring when we brought our cat in for urgent care. They did everything they could to make her feel safe despite her seriously disliking being out of her home. We can't thank them enough for the effort they put in to help Rustly during her short stay there.
We saw Habin for our two cats. She was so patient and thorough. All of our questions were answered. She's super lovely and obviously cares a lot about animals.
It's all about the money here. I have paid $650 here for something that was $85 at animates. Animates also called the next day to check on her. Sure you can charge what you want but you certainly don't give anyone the lower end and I believe you in fact upsell EVERY LITTLE THING. Anyone reading this who truly cares for their animals... this ain't the place.
I went in there this morning a ball of tears over my dog and they had me feeling much better and help my baby with his pain. I love the vets here they actually care about animals.
Our elderly dog had a seizure and we couldn’t find anybody that could look after him this was the first Monday post-lockdown, it was very busy. The vet, Oliver, went above and beyond what anybody would’ve done. Our dog died later that day from what turned out to be a brain tumour. We were absolutely devastated, but at the same time, grateful that he was given care on his last day with us.
