Great staff and stock but the refund system is a poor experience. You have to pay for the replacement as a separate new transaction and wait 5 business days for your refund on the returned item. This punishes the customer by making them pay twice after they already have a bad experienced with a defective item. They say its just the way the system works. They need to do better.
A big thank you to Chloe at Strathpine Officeworks, after 3 passport rejected photos. I finally got the news today my passport is on its way.nChloe went to extra lengths to get the system up and running and took the time to ensure my photo met the criteria.nThank you again Chloe.nAngela
My daughter & i went there today to order a glass print tile. We had no luck on their self serve machines at all. Finally asked for help from the lovely Chloe. She went above and beyond helping us, which in the end included her emailing our photo, & putting it on a usb stick, then putting it back on their machines. So time consuming, but she was so patient & understanding. Customer service outstanding! What she had no way of knowing was the photo is for my terminally ill daughter…. Thank you Chloe, you are a gem
Every time I've visited this store, it's been an unpleasant experience.nnFor instance, during my first visit to get photos taken, I wasn't provided with the necessary photo certification. Not knowing that fact, I applied for a passport with those photos.nnOn my second visit a few days later to get a few more photos, a staff member informed me that the previous batch was unacceptable due to brightness issues. Having nothing else to do, I got another batch of photos clicked. I requested the staff member to show me my picture before they print it off. Despite my request to preview the photo before printing, I received a rude response.nnDuring my third visit, the self-printing machine failed to print some document pages clearly. When I sought help at the kiosk, they printed the documents without informing me beforehand and charged me double the price, which felt dishonest.nnOverall, I believe the staff here need better training. Dealing with them was frustrating and time-consuming. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with staff at this branch and, if possible, to avoid the Office Works, Strathpine location.
Officeworks Strathpine offered a service as part of their Community Involvement Program that just blew me away. They printed up my Pre-Kindy class story, which the children had written and illustrated themselves, and the manager printed us 30 copies so the children could have an individual copy of their work. This was such a generous offer from the manager and her team. Thank you guys from our children and myself and our C&K centre Kedron.
