Dear Store Manager,nnI am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the level of service I received from one of your retail associates, Tracey. My recent interaction with Tracey left me feeling frustrated, unheard, and deeply disappointed in the lack of professionalism displayed.nnDuring my visit to your store to inquire about a product return, Tracey greeted me with an unfriendly demeanor and seemed unwilling to assist me from the start. Despite explaining my situation politely, Tracey responded with impatience and a lack of empathy, making it clear that she had no interest in helping me resolve my issue.nnThroughout our interaction, Tracey's attitude remained consistently unhelpful and dismissive. She appeared more interested in rushing me through the process than in understanding my concerns or providing satisfactory solutions. Her behavior not only failed to address my needs but also reflected poorly on the overall customer service standards of your store.nnIt is evident that Tracey lacks the essential customer service skills necessary for effectively assisting customers in a retail setting. Her demeanor and lack of engagement create a negative experience for customers like myself and contribute to a poor perception of your store.nnI urge you to address this issue promptly and ensure that all retail associates, including Tracey, receive proper training and guidance on customer service etiquette. Customers should feel welcomed and valued when visiting your store, not disregarded and frustrated.nnI expect a follow-up on this matter and assurances that corrective actions will be taken to improve the customer service experience at your store.
Awful middle aged/elderly woman greeted me, and began telling me the obvious and disregarding my questions about photo printing. Said I was able to make copies of physical photos at their kiosks which I had no help with. Was snarky and demeaning. Terribly staffed office-works, don’t recommend.
Super unhelpful, confusing and imprecise advice given by one of the guys in the service area this morning when I went to collect photos I had ordered on 23 January. Apparently they’ve been disposed of but I was advised I could reorder them online or ‘over there’ somewhere in the store, which wasn’t clear. But if I reorder them online I’ll be charged, he said, so don’t do that. With that advice, he turned and walked away.nnI’ve been going to this store for years, on and off, but one really shabby experience has turned me off it for good. Mate, you not only let me down, but your coworkers, from front to back office, and your shareholders too.
I had to go into Officeworks today, 6 February, it was lunchtime and very very busy. The staff were amazing. Polite, engaged, efficient, patient really really helpful. Ten out of ten from me!
Officeworks needs to train their staff better to save them from possible abuse. More importantly they need to address the misleading wording of their PRICE BEAT GUARANTEE. I came in for their price beat on a product available on Amazon Australia which falls within their conditions of price matching and I was told that they had a different part number and was sourced through Amazon UK even though I had found it on the Amazon Australia website which to me is buying from a local online store as per their conditions. They didn’t even look! How do I know? Because they used my phone and it was on my app and you needed to check both apps to do that. They just assumed and didn’t even try and prove it. No wonder Officeworks gets such bad reviews. I have been a loyal customer here for 4 years now but not anymore - well maybe. I made a bit of a scene because I detest being treated like an idiot and I have PTSD so I left before I really blew up. I tried to call to apologise for my minor outburst but they don’t take calls. Another black mark. Even if the item is identical in all specs but has a slightly different part number that is not in the spirit of getting you there on the price match premise. It should say so in their conditions so you don’t waste your time and effort. It must be hard being an employee who has to enforce a misleading and deceptive guarantee. I KNOW I am not the only one who has had this problem otherwise the person doing his best to serve me wouldn’t have jumped to the response they did in such a quick and unconvincing manner. I’m sorry name withheld for losing my rag. It is not who I am.
