I had an outstanding experience at Officeworks, thanks to Millie and James. Millie was extremely knowledgeable about their printing services and kindly walked me through the entire process, making it stress-free and enjoyable. His creative problem-solving skills and solution-oriented approach were invaluable in addressing challenges that arose.nnBoth Millie and James provided exceptional service with their expertise and professionalism, while maintaining a friendly demeanor that made the entire experience a delight. Changing my review from 4 to a 1nnI had the most traumatic experience today. I went to get a printout of a travel photo in A4 size. The lady who helped me didn’t know what she was doing, but I was patient. Once I got home, I noticed the size was way off. I went back with an A4 sheet, asking to print it again I was being really polite, but the guy who helped me was rude and made me pay for the second one as well. He asked me to go to the self-service.nnI then went to the self-service counter to do it myself, but they didn’t have A4 paper. This time, I set up the photo myself and went to the counter to pay for it and get it done. They cornered me and made me wait on purpose for another 15 minutes. I just walked out crying.
On Monday I spent $11.20 to get 15 pages printed, scanned and then emailed back to me. Unfortunately I was in a hurry so it was my only option. 500 pages of copy paper costs $7.75 at the same store. My complaint isn’t necessarily about the price of my transaction but more so the rude workers on the opposite side of the counter. Not only did they look like they hate their lives, their interaction was little to none and it seemed I was an inconvenience among their day.nnTo add to that, a lady wanted a document printed and they charged 5c for a staple. A staple. Now I get it, businesses need to make money which Officeworks clearly is. My issue was this lady was polite and when leaving she made her feelings clear but with no malice.nnThe cashier proceed to sarcastically say goodbye with a whisper of “don’t come back again”. This guy was an idiot. If it helps my transaction was at 12.39 and the transaction he put through was the one before.nnHire better people, not like you can’t pay them when a staple is 5c
Smallest store I have been to, but it is fully stocked of the majority of items. Parking out front.
Very very unhelpful when it comes to IT issues. Bought a MacBook Air with them, found to be faulty, brought Apple’s authorisation letter for refund/replacement but apparently still not good enough for them. Take no responsibility and refuse to support customers’ rights to replace faulty goods. Extremely poor customer service. Took this matter to another branch of Officeworks, we got a replacement within 10 minutes. Leaving a comment so you can look into improving customers experience.
