My record collection has been expanding immensely since I walked into Profile Music. The owner Steve has a way of figuring out your music taste and directing you through the store. Whilst also staying true to my preferences, With Steve’s advice and knowledge my tastes have been developing as well. I love hanging out there to learn more and to listen to diverse ranges of records. If you’re looking for equipment it’s all there! I highly recommend checking this spot out - great music and great vibes

When I first met the owner Steve I was 12 years old, he blew me away with his music that was on vinyl! I would clean his shop everyday after school for a few records every week. He took me under his wing and we've been on magical musical journey ever since. 23 yrs later and Steve with his baby Profile Music has established itself as 'the' go to place for all house, funk, soul, boogie, disco, techno and everything inbetween! His selection of great tunes on wax simply can't be beat this side of the equator! With 30 odd yrs experience in the game including a 10 year stint moving records in London during the immense rise of electronic music Profile Music has the knowledge and the contacts for the most limited, rare, exclusive and completely intoxicating records ever pressed! Profile Music learns your ear quick, after a couple of visits you're treated to a completely tailored buying experience and never fails to impress. Profile Music is my culture!

Steve doesn't only know music inside out having spent decades in an industry that is part of his DNA but beyond this he sourced me a record that was 18 years old over night from his personal collection because he understands music lives beyond just the owner, it's connects souls. Don't waste a moment anywhere else just come into Profile Music and have an experience like no other!!!

Hadn't been here since it was at it's last location and it's good to see that the love of music at this store hasn't changed. High quality records and vibes, Steve definitely knows his tunes

Profile Music is not just a vinyl store, it's an institution. Minimalist interior, uncrowded shelves, dynamite wax. It's quickly evident that Steve is fervently passionate about the music and the records; his depth and breadth of knowledge is extensive. The best thing is, Steve will learn your tastes and take you on a A-Grade musical journey - a purveyor of a kind!
