Basically the only way to get most of the textbooks and school supplies for schools. However it is often out of stock for some of the more popular textbooks. In my experience orders can take a very long time to arrive and can push into the school term. I would not bother buying any stationery as prices can be two or three times more expensive than Officeworks. The business is very clean and staff are helpful and kind. It is not too busy during the school term but can be packed out when leading out of a term holiday.
This store sells text books and school stationery. Most, if not all, schools, source their text books from this store I think. There is ample undercover parking available at this location. The staff are also generally friendly and helpful. I've found the pricing of the text books to be reasonably competitive. HOWEVER, the price of general stationery and related school equipment is very uncompetitive. You'd be much better off going to stores such as Officeworks to buy stationery. Let me give you some examples: Casio fx-CP400 calculator = OMax $241.28 vs OW $229 Bostik Glue Stick 35g = OMax $2.76 vs OW $1.19 Stabilo Boss 6-pack Highlighter = OMax $8.70 vs OW $6.00 Liquid paper 7ml = OMax $3.55 vs OW $2.50 As you can see, the price differences are substantial. Here are some pictures to prove it. It's very disappointing to see this. Many struggling parents are getting ripped off big time :
Fantastic range of products for teachers. The layout could be easier to navigate around although the staff are friendly, easy to find and very helpful. Orders turned up promptly when they said it would and the price was as stated with no extras.
I tried cancelling an order through the customer support but I gave up after being put on hold for nearly 2 hours, and I also went to the store to attempt to cancel the order but they saidthey are unable to do so. Then the owner replied to my previous review asking me to send my concerns to an email, and there they asked redirected me to a contact us page form which I filled out 5 days ago. Why do I have to go through such a complicated process just to cancel 1 item.
Had a lot of trouble with my back-to- school order through the headoffice. Late and no idea where the order was, but local store and in particular Marie Campbell was fantastic. Hand delivered our order after hours as headoffice Winc was not very helpful. Thank you Marie!! Appreciate your help and customer care!
Good helpful staff but we went to store on Wednesday it was out of stock .we were told that more stock will be here in 3 day. Trying to call about new stock arrival but I am on hold from last 30 minutes. So worried as schools are opening this Monday.
Honestly quite a good selection of products. I am very pleased to find the books and stationery that I was looking for. The staff are quite friendly will inform you about things. Great place
Honestly lousy online service. Tried to cancel an order and was put on hold for nearly 2 hours and at the end the line just cut out. Went to the store to attempt to cancel order, but they said it can only be done by calling them. Wrote an email to them and have not heard anything back. I have tried every way to contact them. Really lousy online service and Hope to see improvements in the future
I keep ringing both stores and it is saying that they are closed but they are open on Saturdays until 5pm. frustrating that I can't get hold of anyone as my kids books have not arrived and i ordered 28 december!!
Why you provided your contact number if you NEVER ANSWERED THE CALLS??? Called 3 days no one answered, holding time 20 mins until I give up. Prepaid order home delivery- 2 weeks after payment- NOTHING!
