Great location and a very chill vibe, stayed for four nights in the middle of winter so it was quiet for our stay. Friendly staff and rooms serviced daily, unfortunately the rooms are showing their age. They would benefit from a much needed upgrade, as the carpet, bathroom and furniture felt worn and at the end of its life. The pool area was very nice, the heated spa was relaxing to soak in at the end of each day. We would stay here again, it has a very homey feel, hopefully the rooms can be freshened up.
The location was excellent right across the road from the Mount. The room was very spacious and clean and warm. The guy on the reception was friendly and each day they replaced the towels. The laundry service that was available was excellent the best I have seen with new looking washing machines and dryers. There is not always someone on reception which did not bother me as we checked in quickly upon arrival and then were left alone to get on with our holiday. There is a phone number to ring should you need someone if after hours. I found it very good and have no complaints at all and we even had underneath car parking. The only thing that perhaps in peak times in summer where we were located on the ground floor that a side door banged if someone went through to the pool area. This was not a problem at off peak time but perhaps during busy times maybe annoying. I expect can be easily sorted. A nice place to stay.
I just tried to book a room with you rather than going through a 3rd party website that is 70 dollars cheaper on Saturday night but was told by the man that called himself the manager after trying to get through for 30 minutes by phone that better going with the 3rd party site because you can't match the price but happy to match any price for another night!! After seeing all the negative reviews on here and you defending yourself when by the pictures the place clearly looks run down and am counting myself lucky the rude so called manager couldn't be bothered taking my booking
I had a short but enjoyable stay here on Sat night. I did have an internal room which was just fine as I had my nose stuck in my phone, then watched tv after my hot swim in the hotels pool, so didnt need a window cause it was then dark anyway, and I was up and gone early the next morning. My bed was very comfortable with very clean sheets, the room had everything you could need, extra blankets, lots of pillows, a heater, fan, & ceiling fan, along with everything you’d need in the kitchen. The location is excellent and lovely to have off street parking. The hotel is a good price for the short stay I needed.The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Previous negative reviews are rubbish. I look forward to staying here again.
Do not be cheated by the hotel name and the photos. The nice twin towers ARE not the hotel! The actual hotel is only 3 storey building beside the twin towers and are OLD! Beware that the hotel will charge your card and used silly excuses not to refund your deposit although with free cancellation. I have also given 2 credit cards for the refund but the hotel replied my 2 cards have been declined for refund altogether. It has further asked for the cards' expiry date and CVV no. which is absolutely abnormal and risky for me. Nevertheless I gave the expiry date and CVV no for 1 card but still, the hotel said it has been declined for refund. Eventually it was only resolved by the booking portal. Beware : DO NOT TRUST & BOOK THIS HOTEL!
