I have worked closely with Noosa Confidential both personally and professionally and I have always had an honest and fair experience. It's not always easy working on your mental and physical health and the support they provide at Noosa Confidential is next to none. I recommend this program to anyone who is looking to make changes in their life for the better. It's worth every cent!

I want to start off this review by saying that Noosa Confidential is very up to date with food and nutrition information. The food was great and the talking therapy was good. It is the perfect place to go if you want a lifestyle change or health kick. However, that's where I think they should draw the line. 

I attended the 28 day program in July. When I arrived I had a meeting with the GP they correspond with during the program, I was shocked and humiliated when the doctor asked on the first visit if I was on a certain medication because "I was crazy or smoked too much weed" 
I don't know if he was trying to be funny but I was thrown by such an insensitive comment,  especially by someone that was supposed to be a healthcare professional. 
Nonetheless I continued with the program until I finished it. While I think it's great they use holistic treatments with talking therapy, they are not equipped to take on or deal with people with chronic health issues like they say on their website. While this type of program can work for some people, it can make things worse for others to the point it becomes dangerous. I was taken off both my antidepressant and antipsychotic medications a week before leaving. There was no psychiatric consultation or nursing care whilst taking me off the medications.
48 hours after I returned home after leaving NC, I had a serious relapse and had to be rushed to hospital. After the overdose, my mother inquired for some information about what I did when I under NC's care. She then received an email from their lawyers saying they do not have to release any information unless required by law. The lawyers also said that they would pursue legal action if we spoke to anyone from the media (which we really weren't planning on)

I'm not writing this to bash or tarnish what NC do, but I think it's important for people considering the program to have an honest review about before investing in such an expensive program.

After consulting many different naturopaths and health professionals over the years, I felt so relieved to find Noosa Confidential. Not only did they actively seek understanding into all my medical history and current ailments, they looked at my lifestyle, diet and mindset and approached it from a big picture perspective. Lots of little changes and solid, honest, practical advice has me feeling the best I have in years. I thoroughly recommend NC. My care is ongoing, as is my personal growth in living healthier and happier.

Having worked with the Noosa Confidential team and visited their premises on many occasions I have observed their professionalism and their highly committed approach. Their integrated approach to mental health is evidence-based and their ethos is to support clients in their sustained wellbeing, which is demonstrated by the after-care component of their programmes.
