Great value for money. Just a ten minute walk to the beach, and there is a bus stop door to door if you are feeling lazy, and buses are free over the holiday season. Our deluxe one bedroom suite had a spa bath in the room, a balcony overlooking the garden, and a kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals. The common pool was very clean and the amenities close by were great. Included in the room was board games, a washer/dryer, and a coolcabana which was very handy to take to the beach.
Booked 10 months in advance asking for a luxury room to surprise my wife for our honeymoon. On arrival we enter a room with Broken louvre in room letting the sun in at 4am, broken dishwasher, aircon dripping on our heads in the main bedroom when we are sleeping. Ants and Cockroaches all over the room everyday. Dirty brown carpet in kitchen is disgusting. Thick Oil/Grease-marks over the curtains. Water running out the taps smells like sewage water. Seriously needs to be investigated. Everyday we got woken up by a drill screaming into the wall. Phoned reception and after hours number. A rude man in the background on the after hours number swearing when I complained about the rooms TV not working which I fixed after no one came to help. Lady on phone however was friendly. Penthouse Suite Rooms are outdated and anyone can stay in an average motel that is more comfortable and clean. Feel like we have been ripped off. Will never return nor recommend it to anyone. So disappointed as our 1st holiday there a few years back was excellent but this time it was a nightmare.
Close to noosa which is great as parking is limited in Noosa. Public transport just out front. Pool is great . Our room was very tired and not like the photos. Penthouse spa room is a bit luck of the draw as we saw nice ones but not all the same. Staff are friendly, underground parking is easy.
I do not recommend staying at the Noosa Blue Resort. I stayed here at the end of Dec 2023 to start of Jan 2024 for a week. Here are my thoughts.nn1. The room key we were given didn’t work so we went to reception and asked for a new one which also didn’t work. Turns out the battery on the door lock had died. Took over an hour to get it fixed and to enter the room which is ridiculous in 35 degree celsius heat.n2. The room oasis suite ground floor was very outdated and kind of gross. The floors were slimy/oily and not well cleaned photo of socks attached after walking on the floor for 20 minutes. The ceiling was thin so we could hear the couple above us have s*. They claim to be ‘self contained apartments’ but don’t have a fry pan. There were multiple cockroaches in the kitchen. The ‘king size bed’ was actually two single beds pushed together. The sound system was made for a iPhone 4 or older as it had the old 30 pin connector. No umbrellas for guests to use either.n3. There is hardly any phone reception in the room and I’m with Telstra..n4. The communal BBQ had no gas in it and as we had no fry pan in our apartment, we went to Kmart to buy a frypan so we could cook sausages.n5. The three redeeming things about this resort are: it’s in close walking proximity to both Noosa Junction and Hastings Street, it was relatively cheap compared to other resorts in Noosa and the two pools and hot heated spa are amazing.nnOverall, the resort isn’t terrible but definitely not 4 stars. I wouldn’t stay here again.
Fantastic location at the top of the hill between the village and the beach with plenty of underneath parking. It was an easy walk in both directions to all the eateries.nRoom was spacious, quiet and comfortable with a nice private and sunny courtyard and a friendly bird ready to clean up after us.nAs a motel it was pretty good but as a resort, we expected more facilities available and were a little disappointed the cafe had closed down only days before we stayed, but that wasn't going to spoil our stay.nOverall it was a great place to base ourselves for a few days.
