People are not joking about how good the pies are here. I don't think I'll be ordering anything else when I return. Kitchen ladies are lovely. Same with barmaid. It's a big old pub with lounges and open fireplace, a separate bar and verandah areas full of greenery where you can sit and easy and watch passersby. I loved it! Not fancy, just friendly and spacious with good hearty home cooking.

Went for a brilliant meal on a monday night. Hot rock steak and barramundi fish.great service good food and quiet ambience. A jewel of Blackheath.

Slow service, unflavoured food. We were very disappointed as far as hotel food went.

Best pies in NSW. Every time I try gourmet, premium pies at other establishments. I always compare to the Ivanhoe. quite frankly nothing comes close to these pies. if you want the best pie and value for money you must stop here and try these pies.
