I had a lovely 3 night stay at Parklands, it was so relaxing! The grounds are gorgeous and despite visiting during winter, it was beautiful to just with the ducks and adore the well-maintained grounds. At night, I also got lucky with the weather and got to see the most beautifully lit sky with stars - no need to venture out.nThe lodge is also well connected by bus you do have to time it well though and I got to do some treks/walks. I also had a dinner at Hydro Majestic booked as part of the stay, their sister property in Medlow Bath which was delicious.nThe highlight for me was the Day Spa. I was served by Carina and she made me feel so pampered! I got the Parkland Serenity treatment and I highly recommend it. It involves a bath, body exfoliation, body mask where you just get wrapped in a cocoon, hair mask/scalp massage, body massage and facial. There were so many steps but I did not feel rushed at all and it was just what I needed to relax. And then spoiled with some s’mores and hot chocolate.nThe staff is kind and since there’s limited personnel, they look after you and genuinely care about your experience. They encouraged me for travelling solo and made me feel comfortable at every step of the way.nKeen to be back again!
Had a spa package here for my birthday. It was nice but other spas ive been too make a little fuss its your birthday which didnt happen here. The massage was okay but the room was freezing. They use one heater for the entire building apparently. A person getting a massage is going to be colder than a person in a hotel in a jacket and warm clothing so this isnt practical. It would be great if they purchased heaters separately for the spa treatment rooms as this did ruin the experience a little for me. The person who did my massage seemed very stressed which didnt help either.
I stayed here over the weekend and highly recommend! We stayed in one of the loft rooms - it was very clean, cozy, and felt larger than I had expected. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice and a lovely cozy atmosphere. Plus it was one of the few hotels in the area that allowed me to book a single-night stay over the weekend. I expect I will be back next time I’m in the Blue Mountains!
Five star experience from start to finish. The Loft Suite was immaculate, beautifully decorated and had a warm, relaxing ambience. The fireplace was a particular highlight, making our stay on a cold Blue Mountains winter’s night feel even more special.nnTo make the experience even better, my wife and I enjoyed a memorable couples massage, which was the perfect addition to an already beautiful stay. The staff were consistently warm, friendly and professional throughout.nnParklands is one of our five favourite places to stay in the Blue Mountains. We look forward to returning one day.
This hotel is amazing!nWould definitely recommend it!nMy partner and I were going to stay at a typical big name hotel in Sydney but decided to go somewhere a bit more relaxed and this place hits that mark and more.nWe stayed in the lake tents and it was magnificent, the views were amazing, and the vibe from staff were chill and relaxed. Everything was perfect for a nice weekend getaway.nI'll definitely be back for a longer stay, and recommend it to others!nJust some random photos of the view from our room!nIf you order the brekky package they also deliver this to your room - we opted to go in for the buffet, but just as an FYI for peeps looking at this.
