The aquarium was really interesting! There was a lot of information and the people who worked there were super nice and chatted to us and answered all our random questions. The only think I would improve is the kiwi exhibit. A lot of tourists were going through that section and ignored the signs to be quite and not have flash on their cameras. I know this isn't the aquariums fault, however if there had been a bit more signage then perhaps this may not be so much of an issue?

I had the joy of having a sleepover at the aquarium. We scuba dived in the big tank with the sharks and were allowed to help feed them. That was fantastic. The guide was really passionate and knowledgable. We slept right next to the big window and had a night tour of the place too. It looks quite different at night, and the Kiwis had their daytime! It was so hot that weekend, the heat got in to where we slept which made for a bit of a sweaty night, but apart from that, what a great experience!.

A fantastic experience for all. I was spell bound and my grand children absolutely loved it. You need to walk through slowly or you mite miss something. Well worth taking the conveyor belt twice or jump off for a great browse.

This was the first place we saw real live kiwis (at an aquarium, no less!) which was awesome. The aquarium itself is great and the exhibits well maintained and interesting. We also enjoyed the informative and interesting geology exhibit at the main entrance. The best part for me was the penguin rehab sanctuary.

Always somewhere high on my list of places to visit when holiday in Napier. I love the penguins and watching the stingrays flying overhead.
