One of the best places we visited in Picton. The aquarium was small but housed some amazing animals. We got the “behind the scenes” experience and it was so worth it being up close and personal to a beautiful rescue blue penguins.

Overall a pleasant and informative experience, however very overpriced. 
The on-site cinema is pretty cool too.

This aquarium is sad, old, tired and no place even for an invertebrate.  One can only pity the inmates. It is not a good contribution to Picton's (or new Zealand's) reputation as a clean/green tourist destination.

Worth going at 11 or 2 for the feeding, it is a really great experience for kids and adults alike. Staff are really pasionate about what they do and it comes through in how they act.
