This truly is a lousy bank that does nothing help my banking needs. I've had to report card as lost and head to my local bank to withdraw money only to be told by the rude staff member with ridiculous eye lashes that I can't withdraw money because I don't have a card? Are they serious? In my opinion, they can then no longer support my banking needs so I will be closing all my accounts and banking elsewhere.
So let’s be clear, this ISN’T a NAB branch, it’s a bunch of NAB ATMs. I needed to deposit cash into a NAB account but I didn’t have a card because I’m not a customer. I was advised that I would need to go to my bank, deposit money, and transfer it. OR drive to Cleveland or Carindale where they had actual tellers. This is after I discovered they’d recently closed the Wynnum branch near me. GREAT WORK NAB
Was told to wait to see about my problem, after 1 hour went home. I think I will close my account and move it interstate to one of my previous bankers. Still have the problem. Can't get them on the phone either as there is a 50min wait
Still laughing at the concept of a cashless bank? If I wanted to transact digitally I would use the website, and if I wanted to talk to a specialist I would call the help line from the comfort of my lounge. Really not sure the purpose here rather than being a complete waste of space and resources. Just remember NAB is "More than Money" but they have none of that at this branch so head on next door to the friendly team at ANZ who were more than happy to help me out
Wynnum branch closed, Capalaba branch doesn’t have cash, cleveland branch doesn’t have cash…..change your bank people NAB is a joke
5 times I have been here it has been great. Nice service. ATM's are new. Coin one is a bit dicky, but such is technology.
Problem orientated service rather than solution seeking approach. I was sent here to bank my kids’ money tin. Apparently it’s the only one around that does it. But they won’t do it if you don’t have a card. Ok. Let’s ID you. My official NSW license isn’t good enough. QLD cops accept it in digital form. The courts do too. But this lot won’t. Technophobes. So I cannot get a card to bank these 3kg of coins I’ve been driving around Brisbane with from NAB branch to branch because I don’t have a card. And I cannot get a card because NAB Capalaba doesn’t believe in technology and NSW licensing system. So annoying. Only have an acc with NAB for the Swift Code capacity. Time to look somewhere else.
Wish I had never opened a "no-fee" biz acc with them. Other than charging fees for which no accountability has been disclosed as to why, I had to go into the branch for no reason I could see when I opened an account. Absolute waste of my time when it could of been sorted on the phone. It would be nice if the people knew how to do their job. I'm not even going to start with the absolute ignorance I received on my first visit by three staff members talking to each other for several minutes before I was acknowledged. Now I know that NAB nabs your money.
Disappointed to say the least. Too busy telling me how I should live my life to actually help me out with my request. Should probably pay less attention to the clock and more to your customers. Had me in tears and not even an offer for a tissue. Ended up going to my local ANZ for them to completely agree that the woman I spoke to from this branch was all sorts of rude and useless. Very disappointed that I dont have the womans name that I spoke to on 13/02/19. But I'm sure this will get to her somehow. To tell me that you moved house for $1000 when you broke lease is utter rubbish. Bond alone is more money than that. To tell me that I should ask my family or friends for a loan is extremely unprofessional, I get the idea, but I'm not a moron. Obviously if I had the option of borrowing money, I wouldnt have come to see you in the first place. Then to tell me that it's the banks responsibility to not put someone into financial hardship just to turn around and try to force me into a short term loan with higher repayments is extremely backwards. I am not a drop kick, I dont have mountains of debt. I work full time and I work hard. So next time. Instead of trying to tell someone how to manage their own life. Pull your finger out, realise that you are NOT a life coach, tap your fingers and let the computer do its thing. If you had of done your job and told me that I was declined for a loan for any real reason to do with money and not my life choices, I would have no issue. But you were a rude, arrogant woman and I will not be treated like scum. I sincerely hope my next trip to NAB isnt as awful as this one was, or I will be switching banks.
The service here is terrible. The staff are just lazy.
