Tried to open an account. Gentleman has no clue what he is doing, we had to sit there for 20 minutes while he was trying to find answers on the internet. Then explained that we need to open this account online. Rang customer service number - got same response twice - account can ONLY be opened in branch!!! Might take all my business accounts elsewhere since they don't value customers time at all.
Have always had great experience with this branch. Every one there is very professional and kind. Had to speak to manager Michael for my accounts. All paperwork was ready when I reached there and it was very prompt processing. Keep up the good work, great team.
Went to the westpac capalaba today,and meet a lady who was the teller there.she said she had worked for Westpac for over 40 yrs and I told her I havebeen a Westpac customer for over 50 yrs even when it had a different name.She was a rare breed of bank employee.She was lovely to talk to,helpful,and very efficient in what she was doing,Westpac should cherish her,and maybe people would not have low opinion of banks like they currently do.
Non of the staff business to why someone wants to close a bank account and open a new one.
Every lady at this branch is very helpful and very friendly, even when I cause them trouble.
I mean seriously its COVID-19 and their ATM machine outside looks like it has never been cleaned - Come on Westpac keep people healthy so they can repay those interest and feed you!!!
Wow! Don't bother trying to call there will be no answer, ever. Try BOQ instead, at least you ge treal people...
