Always loved to shop in MYER but in Launceston Myer had the worst experience. They sold  sunglasses that are defective. We purchased two pairs of sunglasses from the store, and staff members packed them both. When we got home, we checked and found that both pairs were faulty. The following day, we went to the store and spoke with the manager, who promised to give a refund for both. Later, the store manager spoke with her regional manager, and both of them told us that they could only give a refund for one damaged pair of sunglasses and would not return the other one, claiming the customer had damaged the second one. If they wouldn’t have sold defective pieces then they wouldn’t provide refund for both products.nnExtremely impolite to the customers as well, attempting to blame to the customer for the faulty pair of sunglasses. Both of the staffsmanagers blamed the customer for damaging product which was already a defective piece.nWould never suggest anyone to buy from Myer, better to goto independent store, much better customer service and experience in independent stores.nnThey were unable to answer my questions when I asked them why would I spend so much money and then ruin the present?nThey were onto their own words stating that I used some cleaning agent to clean the sunglasses and damaged the product.

1: Every time I go into this store the Security seems to be on High Alert. They even have Police standing outside as I leave.nHaven’t the Police got more imperative assailants to apprehend other than waste their time standing around waiting for nothing.nI have never stolen a thing from this store, I’m so tired of being Discriminated against by the people working in this store.nI have been a Myer One customer for over twenty20 years and this is how they treat loyal customers.nI will be spending my money elsewhere.nnJust letting all interested readers know.n2: I just received a phone call from someone from the Myer Launceston Store and he informed me that they don’t have security or store detectives, which I believe he is lying to me. I know all department store have security who monitor the store and they also have store detectives.nWhy is this man lying to me, he has just solidified it for me, I will never shop at any Myer store again.nnI’ll be sure to share this.nnMaybe they have Cops on the beat in Myer Launceston.nThis is ridiculous.

the lady at the toy section was so lovely and helpful!! helped me organise delivery to a different state and even called me back when she found other things i was after!! literally the nicest ever

my auntie went to myer and was looking at a jacket, a worker came up to her and said “we don’t stock plus sizes here” my auntie didn’t even ask her if they did she just walked up to her. that is just an awful thing to say, could be the biggest person in the world buying a small and you still should not say that to anyone. just awful
