Story

Our Shire: Picturesque Murrindindi Shire covers almost 4000 sq km and incorporates the towns of Alexandra, Eildon, Kinglake, Marysville and Yea, and a large number of smaller townships. The Taungurung and Wurundjeri are the traditional owners of the land on which Murrindindi Shire is located. Agriculture, aquaculture, horticulture and viticulture are drivers of our economy, along with hospitality and tourism.

Roadside whippersnipping broke my windscreen, I sent photos in and a quote for repairs along with a form they gave me, and they paid for it no issue. Lady at the desk was very helpful when I asked if they could pay for it. Only 3 stars because they  broke it in the first place 

After a mishap with out rubbish collection due to my husbands error, I contacted council and spoke to a lovely lady Janine in the Waste Department. She kindly assisted me by arranging Cleanaway to return to empty my rubbish. I can not thank her or Cleanaway enough for the service I received! Thank you Janine and Cleanaway !

We went up to the tunnel for a drive over the weekend and the road Cheviot Rd, limestone is in terrible condition. It's so bad ,with corrogation ,that the car was moving sideways . The poor people who live out there,having to drive that road every day. What are their rates going to?????. Poor management on the councils part 

Paying rates for nothing other than bin collection  $1600 a year for nothing
