MAMA reimagines what an art museum can be. More than a showcase for art, MAMA is an all-encompassing contemporary art experience that balances international touring exhibitions with deep connections to our surrounding regional area and cultural identity. MAMA is in touch with the community and is an inclusive place for art to thrive.

Every corner of MAMA is bold, vibrant and alive. Along with an emphasis on innovative, self-curated exhibitions, MAMA features a stunning 24-hour 'art skin', interactive workshops and immersive cultural experiences.

We wandered into this museum without much idea on what we'd find. We were greeted like long lost friends, was given an excellent overview of what was on offer and then was personally escorted through one of the exhibits. A truely wonderful experience, one I'd recommend.

MAMA would have to be one of the best small public galleries in the country. Their exhibition program always feels fresh and interesting and the permanent collection regularly has some of Australia's finest and most significant artists on display. The gallery is spacious and airy with multiple smaller spaces to explore. The shop features excellent work from local artists and designers. Well worth a visit.

A great regional art gallery with permanent and rotating exhibitions, with contemporary and more traditional art. The staff are very helpful and the building invites exploration. There is always a kid's activity in the foyer.

Enjoyed the material sound exhibition immensely. There were live performances as well as artist installations in this very new looking, renovated purposed building.
