This place is amazing, much better than I expected. It may have initially been set up as a killer whale museum more than 85 years ago and the killer whale display is a feature but it's become much more. We spent several hours viewing high quality displays (some outdoors), about Eden and it's history. The small children with us were also entertained with several interactive areas dedicated to their needs.

You'd think there wouldn't be much to a relatively small town's museum, but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of rich history contained in this museum. Reading the information and stories behind the various exhibits are the best thing to do, as there's so much to each item. Well worth a trip.

Was a bit skeptical about this museum but it's bigger than it looks and the content is actually very interesting. Gave me a lot of respect for how intelligent and crafty these whales must be. Would never have guessed something like this was possible without coming here.

Bit of a hidden gem a lot of really interesting info and not just about whaling. Good value for money $10 for adult entry was well worth it.
