Delightful house and gardens; the former home of the artist Sir Daryl Lindsay and author Joan Lindsay. The volunteer guides gave a lively and interesting background to their lives and work in this house.

My dad was the gardner there for 30 years I spent my childhood playing and exploring the grounds. I learn't to whistle under the old water tower at the back of the house. My sister was married there, it is one of the most beautiful places.

Love the house and the Lindsay's story. We had a gorgeous tour guide, telling us heaps of details about the building, furniture, paintings, the old neighborhood , etc
