Ordered a peppercorn pie. Nice shop - pies looked fantastic - handy right next to the bar so that’s good. Unfortunately 2/5 - pie was tasty and $8 or $9 is dear normally but ok for the airport. But the pie was very light with not much filling. When I picked up the bag I was surprised that it was so light. So now I’m looking for another snack before the flight - as I’m way still hungry.
I ordered a burger with egg and bacon for breakfast from this place. I’m a bit disappointed, it was very chewy and it didn’t have any taste! They have few choices so I hope something else taste better.
Of course it is expensive, that just comes with anything at the airport. Just got a sausage roll and i was very impressed. It came out of the warm display shelf thing but i was pleasantly surprised to bite into it and it be SUPER HOT in a good way. Tasted fresh, was moist also in a good way and i really rate them. Was craving a sausage roll and couldn't find one at the other cafes so i was very happy that they were in stock here and it was a great one! yummy yummy
Order what was displayed as a beautiful authentic toasted chicken avacado but was greeted with this junk. Might as well save the penny and head over to McDonald's
My $8.65 Steak pie was in a pastry that tasted like crushed up chipboard. I ate the filling. The pastry went on the bin.
Not bad but not the Qantas lounge toasties!
General speaking, the service speed is good and the food is okay. However, the staff training and standard of procedure have to be improved. I had my most challenging breakfast this morning. Ordered a chicken avocado panini and asked for toasted I mean oven toast, not press When I received my panini, I was wondering why the size is shrinking so much. Once I opened it, the whole bag of panini is all surrounded by the avocado spread, chicken, tomatoes slice and sauce as you can see from the photos. I was about to ask them for an exchange but it was very crowded in the morning and I decided not to wait any longer and try to finish my panini. Goodluck Mrs.Fields Mascot.
If you're flying domestic, check out this place. Lovely food and fast service. They're located at the bottom of the escalators after clearing security check in. Just what you're looking for when you need a quick feed before a flight.
Bacon egg roll was one of the worst I've eaten - burnt roll, overcooked tough bacon, egg with the consistency of a squash ball. Coffee was, being generous, ordinary. Didn't even have the saving grace of being cheap.
Quick service, nice pastries. A reasonable standard for a busy airport terminal. I ad a large Cappuccino and spinach & cheese roll. Both were quite nice.
