What a lovely cute cafe situated in a nice busy area close to the train station. Very popular. Great service. Friendly staff. Coffee was great tasting. Food was fresh and out to us quickly. Recommend this cafe for a nice catch up and feed.
I followed all the good reviews that led me to this café, only 2 mins walk from Mascot Station, and I did not disappoint. I ordered the eggs benedict with smoked beef and a latté, both exceptional. The smoked beef was the stand out, really top notch. Easily pulled apart, complex and flavourful. They know how to source their produce! The café lady greets every customer with respect and remembers what regulars like to order. I also liked their choice of background music and internal decoration. Surely this gem of a place deserves more business!
Hands down the friendliest and most welcoming cafe in Sydney! We've been to our fair share of cafes here and there but we always make time to visit Coward Corner. Greeting us with a warm smile each time we visit, Danny and Alex know us by name, know our order, and never fail to make us laugh. It's more than just the wonderful food, it's the beautiful experience of being with 'family'. We love you guys. - F & M your FaM
Ate breakfast here every morning. The nicest crew of folks manning the counter, preparing the food and drinks. The food... absolutely incredible! Super fresh, great flavors and presentation! Must get the breakfast bowl, and add avocado to it!
Whether you are just passing through or looking for that mid-morning bite to eat, a stop at this street style cafe is a must. Situated at the top of Bourke and Coward street, it’s the perfect place to sit and have a coffee, or enjoy one of the absolute delicious meals. It is clearly obvious that these guys take pride in what they do, and prepare their creations with passion. I have never tasted eggs benidict they way it is served here, the presentation and taste is on par with the best. Have a chat with the chef and others,..... their food, up-beat attitudes and friendliness will set you up for the rest of the day. oh, and I tried making that kale salad again..... guess I have to keep coming back . Cheers Guys.
One of the best brunches I have ever eaten. The eggs Benedict with Korean fried chicken, and my wife had the breakfast bowl with falafel and fried potato balls. The coffee was amazing, service was great. During Covid it was difficult to find a spare table, we had to wait 15 minutes, once a table left the waiting staff sanitized the table well which we appreciated. I've told my friends about this place and although it's a bit far from where we live, I'd happily endure the long drive there to eat again.
If you're looking for a great coffee, delicious breakfast or witty banter in the Mascot area, look no further. It would be a standout in far trendier areas, but here it basically makes the few other cafés redundant. If you're not getting your morning fix here, you're doing it wrong. They also have great filter coffee of course and their menu seems to have new tasty options all the time.
Great service, relaxing atmosphere, best coffee love a barista that doesn’t overheat the milk and the frittata for breakfast ... YUM, best I’ve had! Good company, yummy food, a great start to my weekend, thank you!
Coming from Melbourne, I can honestly say this is the best coffee I’ve had in Sydney. New regular from now on
