Warm welcome to Monterey Cinemas.

We are a state of the art cinema located in the heart of historical Howick village. We boast five upmarket and intimate cinemas housed under one roof with a café offering exquisite food and beverage selection.

We offer elegant and comfortable seating with small tables, so you can enjoy your drink while watching. Our latest technology digital projectors provide outstanding audio and visual cinematic experience.

We took our seniors group to the cinema today for the big screen small group deal, which also comes with popcorn. The advantage of this deal is you can select the movie and time you want it to play for your group Monday to Friday only. The parking was easy and we enjoyed that it is a smaller cinema. We had hot drinks in the lovely seating area before the movie. We had a fabulous time and wanted to say thank you to the staff and cinema.
I absolutely love old cinemas. The vibe here is quiet and chill. Grab you popcorn and drinks and enjoy the movies. My only concern is the seating, maybe a cushion for some extra padding and comfort.
Gorgeous local cinema, and the staff are so friendly. Nice atmosphere for a date night. Their wood fired pizza was delicious too!
So cosy and affordable! Our fave place to watch the latest movies!!
