Great venue, seating is pretty comfy and the view of the stage is even good from the end of the back row. Staff were all friendly and helpful
My grand daughter performed in a dance showcase, we of course loved it. Lots of variety and awesome children and adults performed for us. Bravo

We enjoyed the youth theaters play, this year it was school of rock. Very good
Hawkins Theatre in Papakura is now open after refurbishment. Hawkins theatre is a great place to meet with friends and enjoy each others company while catching a movie, school performances, Dane competitions, events and awards, The Glow Show, or a fun time with Operatunity!! You can purchase ice-cream, coffee, biscuits, or wine at the bar. You can take them into the theatre with you also. If you are a senior and purchase your tickets online for the movies, currently they are only $10:00. Hawkins theatre is also a lovely place to take the grandchildren/mokopuna for the movies anytime. There is often a Ladies night, which costs $24 or $26 depending if you purchase in advance or at the door. Thus usually involves a chick flickhowever some me do attend a drink of any kind and an ice-cream. A great deal. Here are a few photos of the April program to pique your interest.
