Massey Park Pool is the premier aquatic centre in South Auckland. We have a hydroslide, lazy river, spa pools, sauna, steam room, 25m lane pool, toddlers pools and a wave pool.

We have Aqua Aerobics classes, a holiday programme, Friday Night Wave Rave and many more programmes at your disposal.

Great facility, great staff. Indoor and outdoor pools. Slide, kids pools, wave pool, lane pools, aqua run, sauna, spa and steam room. Clean facilities and have food and drinks available to. Close to Papakura shopping center.
Not very good pools, the only clean and nice place there was the reception area. Womens toilets were terrible, dirty, no handsoap, soiled nappies left in the toilets. The inside pool area, walk carefully, otherwise your flat on the ground, pool gets crowded very quickly, the only public pool of seen with security guards. Pool staff are worked off there feet, monitoring the public, keeping everyone safe. Very expensive if you have 3 or more children, we were told to get a superpass, they don't tell u that, so $10 per child for everything. We were there Saturday 1.45pm left at 5.30pm and not once did the wave/s happen. I suppose with stuff all funding now to Councils, these pools will get worse cleaning wise. Hopefully not.
Amenities were ok, but still pretty run down. Otherwise I had my worst experience here after already visiting around 20 other pools in New Zealand I am a swimmer.nSwimming pool was dirty overall the water and the pool itself, three swimming lesson lanes and two private lanes, so that the public is crowded on a few lanes and just ignoring the lane signs for speed, which is not fun if you want to do a workout.nAsked if I could swim outside, but got told that they open up on Saturday and that just Lifeguards of the pool are allowed outside to set up the pool. Well I saw two kids and a few other people pretty sure no lifeguards how they looked like and how there were dressed chilling and swimming outside, even with 3 kayaks on the pool unsupervised, what does not make any sense to me after the explanation of the lifeguard...Also pretty disappointing the female lifeguard on duty was hanging around with the other lifeguards and didn't take a lot of attention instead of being at a central place and rotating with the other lifeguards, what I am used to also from all other NZ pools. The boys were fine, taking attention and rotating.nTime for some maintenance of the amenities and for some more training for the lifeguards. I know it is not the most interesting job, but it's still a very important one with a huge responsibility, which should not be taken for granted.
The facilities are old and run down. Some children and adults weren’t wearing the appropriate swimming clothes e.g jeans. There was hair and eaten food everywhere because of an event. Would not recommend and will be going elsewhere.
Great place to entertain kids. The slide is situated pretty close to the hot pool adults only, so you've got a great spot to watch the older kiddies exhaust themselves while you get to relax a little.
