Mirch Masala Grocer

You can find everything in this little supper market/corner store. Quality products, fresh spices, different quality of rice, lentils and flours and also they have fresh goat meat. Love this place.

If you go late in the day, you can get away with parking in the loading zone right outside but if you want to browse, parking is a short walk away. Mirch Masala is great because it doesn't have any pretensions of grandness, quite reminiscent of it being picked up out of 'small town' India [or Britain] and dropped into seaside Australia. The woman, always present in the store, is friendly and helpful and they have a range of products to make proper Indian food from scratch, amazing quantity sizes of spices, some unusual, healthy flours, even some Indian incense. ...or if you get a fit of the lazies, some pastes and accompaniments that put the supermarket equivalents to shame, both in price and range. Stick with us, Mirch Masala, you are a welcome addition to Maroochydore.
