Reviews
The most welcoming little bar in all of Brighton, with a local clientele and terrific friendly fun service. Indoor and outdoor seating with everything you could need to spend hours in the sun tanning it right up or chilling inside or out the back in the garden... And how good is the music!!!Thanks for a wonderful time guys, see you soon!
Love this pub. I was visiting just for the day to go to Q&A for Mick Talbot/Steve White, The Style Council that evening. I needed somewhere for refreshment 2 pints of Guiness certainly did the trick . I Met Tony one of the Publicans really friendly & helpful guy. Tony & some of his regulars made me feel very welcome. Thanks Tony. I will definitely visit whenever I am back in Brighton
First time visiting and only stayed for a few, but if it wasn't for catching a train we would probably have stayed a lot longer. Friendly staff and nice ambience. Will return!
Visit was pre-COVID. Nice, friendly pub. Had a half pint of Sussex Best Bitter. They had the front doors open and the weather was not very pleasant so jackets never came off.
Warm and welcoming staff and locals with a good selection of drinks in this traditional and intimate local pub.
Very central pub, nice staff, queer friendly and a neat yard for smoking and telling Sarah about the time to you found a small renaissance cat. The Mexican restaurant up the road is less temporarily than expected.
I had one of the best experiences in Brighton by walking into this place. Yes, the beer was good, and not outrageously priced, so that was nice, but it was the people I met! They welcomed me in and I felt like family. The Scottish man and the friendly bartender who’s been working there for 7 years, the old man with the epic hat he bought for £30, all made my stay wonderful. If you have the chance, check out this cute little pub
Great bar. Friendly efficient staff. Well worth a visit.
Worth a visit for the new bar stools alone, one of which is probably occupied by the resident friendly Scotsman
I always love it here. Welcoming staff and traditional feel pub
