We have bought two cars from here and they have both been great with no major problems at all. They were very helpful and polite. I'm just writing this now because I can't believe how bad the ratings are. If you get your car checked before the warranty runs out you will have no trouble getting them to fix it, we had a small leak from the radiator hose which under warranty he didn't have to fix but he did anyway. Will defs go here again.

Have now bought 2 cars and never had an issue. Service pricing the best I've seen around. The guys have always been friendly and informative. Even when my back windscreen broke they advised me towards the cheapest quote. If your looking for a cheap reliable car check them out.

The most disgusting dealership I’ve ever encountered. More than a year ago I purchased my first car from them and had the best experience with it. Unfortunately that car was totaled and I didn’t second guess where to get my second one. They completely took advantage of me and it’s quite disgusting. They sold me a Nissan TIIDA with 233000km on it for $6000. That car has had nothing but issues. The air conditioning stopped working, rear windscreen wiper broken, suspension completely in pieces, bald tyres, and overall dodgy interior. Since owning this car I have had to pay a total of $750 PLUS they had to fix my suspension for free as it wasn’t sold to me in a roadworthy condition. I’m now looking at paying a further $250 to fix more issues wrong with the car. Instead I’ve chosen to purchase a new vehicle through ford and have had the best experience ever. MORAL don’t trust shady dealerships.

I am writing this post because I cant believe the negative comments on here. Our family has been buying cars of Mike Hunts pretty well since they started all those years ago. We have always found them fair to deal with, there cars reasonably priced and decent. Most of there cars are under $5000 so you cant expect a Rolls Royce. They have always helped out with any issues we've had with any of the cars we've bought and they are friendly and not pushy. I have no problem recommending these guys at all and there is not too many car yards left that sell the cheaper cars.

I noticed problems almost as soon as I bought the car. Within a couple of weeks of buying it I got the car checked out and a mechanic told me it had mechanical problems which were supposed to cost almost $3000 to fix. The car had a 3 month warranty so I had it towed back to the dealership for $450 and they refused to fix the problem even though it stated in the warranty that they legally had to fix it. I was unable to drive my car and had to take legal action against them and almost 4 months later they were forced to finally fix the car which they should have done from the very beginning. Very inconvenient and painful process.

My daughter and I walked into the yard looked around. No one came to help. Had to go looking for a sales person. Applied for a loan through there broker Aussie car loans ended up with a worse credit rating than I had because of this process. Daughters car only lasted a year before having major problems. Still have 2 yrs to pay the loan. Would not recommend either company. The car yard or there broker.

Bought a Toyota Starlett in early 2013. No mechanical issues at all. I've retired it this year because it's becoming unreliable it is in its 19th year of operation so expected. Bought second car from them in June, just had it back from its first service while I've had it. No problems all good. Would definitely recommend.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!! Would of given 0 stars if I could’ve!!! My partner and I bought a Hyundai Terracan in the beginning of this year paid for with cash so explains why he was so good to us. He let myself my partner and our new born and 4 year old drive away in a absolute ticking time bomb!! We Had to take it back to him to “fix” a few things so naturally when it came to service it we went some where else. Just to find out It needs over $10,000+ worth of work just to make it safe for our kids! Now we are having to find another vehicle thanks a lot!!
