I bought the second Comercial car here. Will buy the third one over here in the future. Great team! Great service!
Service not so great. Bought a van in December. Picked it up on a Friday, discovered tank leak the following Wednesday, reported on Thursday, said it's nothing and could be the gauge. Friday noticed leak again, they finally gave in and said to bring it in. Picked it up Wednesday confirming that it's been fixed. Leak was worse and dropped it off Thursday. While it was getting fixed, they did not offer service car. As I'm a courier, I needed a vehicle to keep working. Also did not offer transportation for me to go back and forth in between repairs. Spent $400+ on vehicle hire. I did ask for it and made a formal complaint, no response. 2 months now and still waiting.
Mike and Lance were awesome and easy to deal with. Communicated right thru the very short process and transaction. Quality vehicle with everything we were looking for. Awesome down to earth people. Would definitely buy from Mike again. Thanks Mike and Lance of East Coast Commercials.
Definitely worth travelling 900 km for a vehicle from East Coast Commercials. Despite the hospitality and friendly approach, I was extremely satisfied with the whole deal. In sum, professionalism, promptness and honesty, would best describe my experience with them.
I don't usually like leaving negative reviews but this is well over due and an honest opinion of my experience here. Fixture November 2021. East Coast overcharged me for a simple fixture of , break shoes, backing plate and handbrake cable. $3,250. I provided all these parts from a reckers except the handbrake cable. A previous mechanic said this would be aprox $600 for parts and labour. Feeling extremely ripped off.....
5 stars is just not enough for this company. I am beyond impressed and grateful for the professionalism, service and capabilities of this team. I have a fiat motorhome, and had taken it to another fiat dealership with an "intermittent problem" that I explained I believed was the clutch. This other dealer gave the vehicle back to me the following day on two occasions in two weeks with their best attempt at fixing, but no rectification of the problem, stating "these intermittent issues are very hard to diagnose and fix". I was recommended by a friend to try these guys at East coast commercials as "the best fiat dealership in Australia" and so I phoned them with my problem. On the phone they were upfront very honest about how busy they were, and stated they might not be able to get to my van for another 2 weeks but they were confident to be able fix my issue when they could get to it, and that I was welcome to drop it off immediately. When I arrived there, I was greeted with such kindness, and professionalism. Again, I was told "they have seen this problem before and would be able to fix it when they could get to it". I happily left my van with them knowing it might be 2 or more weeks to get it back... secretly hoping it would be returned prior to the school holidays. 3 days later I received a phone call that my van is ready tp pick up. They had a cancellation that enabled them to deal with my van, and that they had changed the clutch assembly, hydraulics and master cylinder- and that my van was all fixed and ready to go. I was also informed this was all completed under the still current manufacturer warranty. I am just so grateful to find that from the beginning there was nothing but complete transparency, honesty, professionalism and knowledge of the vehicle. I will from now on travel to this location for services and any other work that might need to be done. I have 100% trust that this team have not only the best intentions, but also knowledge i have experienced and are my recommendation for you vehicle. Thank you East Coast Commercials.
Apparently you can only test drive if you put down a deposit? Understand COVID is a thing, but when you are looking to drop ~$62k on a car I think that’s a lazy excuse. All cars are unlocked and people are opening doors, climbing into the driver and passenger seats. Great fleet but super unprofessional salesman.
We were nervous about purchasing a car when we lived thousands of Kms away from the car dealership.  However, Adam went above and beyond to assist us and make the entire process a comfortable and pleasant experience.  Adam provided us with excellent customer service.  He was professional, communicated clearly and promptly and we never felt pressured by him. We would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from him and we recommend him highly.
Dont put yourself thru the pain. Bought a ranger off these guys. Paid top dollar and got the extra warranty for piece of mind. Had nothing but problems with the ute AND the team. Was losing my clutch intermittently, so I took it back to them. Their "mechanics" couldn't find the issue and they wanted to charge me for it. So I took it to a brake and clutch specialist as it was my only means of income. They found it was the Slave cylinder very common issue with rangers and had them fix it. As a result, my warranty was voided and I've had nothing but issues with the vehicle. Bought at 53,000km. It is now 113,000km and I've already had to spend over 15k just to keep it on the road. NOW I HAVE TO LOOK FOR A BEW MOTOR. Will never recommend these guys as this has caused extensive financial difficulties for the past 4 years. Not to mention that the clutch specialist ALSO said he suspects the odometer was wound back as the clutch was down to 25% after 65,000km.
Great and honest company to deal with. We purchased a vehicle through Peter that was unseen and he arranged delivery to us in Melbourne. Peter was very knowledgeable and kept me up to date with the purchase and the delivery. Highly recommend
